Reasonably priced eco-friendly rustic lodging on the beach. Room 6 (upper level) has a spectacular view and an excellent breeze that passes through. The beach and the grounds are immaculately kept by attentive groundkeepers and the same can be said of the rooms by the housekeepers.

We travel to Tulum every year and normally we would stay at the Playa Xcanan directly next door to Tita Tulum, this year they were booked so we decided to stay here, I have never been so disappointed, the staff was not very helpful, nor did they look happy, the only one to smile at us the entire 6 nights...

Unlike the other more party places on the Tulum Beach. Would not consider this upscale. You are paying for the super location. No beach side bar service, but you can go get your beverages and food from their very good restaurant and bring them down to your beach chair yourself! Caters to quiet families, singles and couples. Reminded me of...

Absolutely beautiful grounds and a sizeable and private room with a nice balcony. The room was well-designed, cozy, and authentic with all-wooden local construction and nice details. Really felt like you were in your own private beach cabin. The only reason it's not 5 stars was the restaurant, which was a little overpriced and the staff were not the most...

Nice hotel very close to the beach. It is an ecologico hotel so there are no plugs in the room to charge you phones for example (you can charge them in the reception), the water in the shower is salty, no air conditioner ( not hat you need it since the sea breeze is amazing) and there is no minibar....

The cabins are simple but clean, the bathrooms are nice and spacious too. Also amazing to step out onto the incredible beach in the morning. Wifi in the cabins but no charging facilities as it is an eco lodge. They have hammocks on the decks which are great for an afternoon relax. Only issue is the staff who were not...

Great location on the beach, peaceful, and beautifully rustic cabanas. Photo perfect and what you expect if you want a simpler, beachfront experience. My only issue was that the lower rooms can get quite hot if there is no cross breeze. There is no A/C and the fans provided do not move any air. Get a beachfront or upstairs unit...

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are fine. Be aware that there is no ac and while it's pretty windy, it doesn't all get into the toom. The rooms all have fans, however, so it wasn'/t brutal My only beef (which probably applies to all of the hotels) is that the water is brackish and hence it's hard to...

This small resort is a wonderful place to stay. The setting is beautiful with around 10 thatch-roofed cabanas that are steps from the ocean, palm trees and palapas to sit under while drinking their excellent margaritas. Our room (cabana #8) was large and fit our family of 6. The staff was friendly and the whole resort was always clean and...

Perfect location if your idea of vacation is off the beaten path and away from the hustle bustle resort locations. Always an open spot on the beach for you with good food and service. Highly recommended in all regards. If you are used to extravagance and absolute comfort of a 5 star resort, this is not the place for you,...
