As you can see by the many MANY reviews they already have, you cannot go wrong if you stay here during your time in Tulum. We were able to get a shuttle from the Cancun airport and set up a tour before we even arrived....More
We split our vaca between town and the beach. We loved PLDS and especially the price! The breakfast was amazing (we are Mexican) and it had a list of Mexican dishes. The propety was well maintained and clean, very clean! Smiles around with the staff,...More
I stayed in Tulum for three nights over the weekend and wanted the "town" experience. This hotel was the right fit. It was impressively clean and quite surprisingly spacious. The design of the rooms is very well thought-out to the point that even the hooks...More

Yes, breakfast is included, and it is simply lovely! Fresh orange juice, coffee, choice of pastry or baked good to start, and then your choice of main breakfast entree from a list of magnificent choices. Each item is prepared to order and simply delicious! Plus, the breakfast is served on the rooftop dining area, which is charming, and staff is incredibly kind, warm, and helpful.

Hi Doc! We are 4KM from the beach, which is about 5 minutes by cab, probably 2 more minutes more than Aldea Zamas. Our location is great, as Tulum is not all about the beaches--there are many activities to do in town, so ¨convenience of location¨ does not make much sense to us. The town has superior restaurants and night-life and way better value than the beach. Most our guests that want to enjoy the beach, take the 5 minute, $5 cab drive and enjoy the beach during the day and then return to a fully equipped room at our establishment versus an overpriced beach shack with no amenities. Keep in mind our prices are way lower than the beach, which range from $500-$1500 per night. I encourage you to check out the FAQ section on our website for answers to everything and everything about our hotel, even this question. Cheers!
