The Beach Tulum is a small adult-only upscale boutique hotel with 28 specially designed rooms for your enjoyment. Heaven on earth

This place is a little patch of heaven on earth. It’s serene, quiet and beautiful. The rooms are stunning but not over the top which is a perfect combination. They have great facilities and thank god they don’t have TVs - that was the best! Our room was right on the beach and it was just spectacular. The staff are all wonderful and friendly and super helpful but also not in your face - they allowed us our space at all times. The breakfast at the adjoining restaurants was wonderful. The location of the hotel was also perfect as it was not in the busy Tulum strip of shops and restaurants so it gave it a quiet feel but it was only 10-15 min walk from everything. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was the best beach holiday I’ve had and I definitely will go back. Loved it. …

The Paradise I didn't know I needed!

Where do I even begin?! Another reviewer said it best - The Beach is SO much more than "just" a resort. Secluded, extremely peaceful and gorgeous. My dream for our honeymoon was a ground level room that opens up straight to the beach. Our room was exactly that - my dream come true! I love the beach vibes throughout the hotel -shoes are optional everywhere throughout! And, as you may have read in other reviews, the staff's hospitality was out of this world. They are incredibly friendly and kind in person, and if you need anything you can text them (on WhatsApp) and they will make it happen. The complimentary bikes were a great amenity as we rode them to dinners along the strip. The complimentary yoga class was great - good for all levels but NOT too easy for those who've practiced before. The spa was fantastic - I'm so glad we got a massage on Day 1 to kick off the relaxation. The pool is lovely - and a great reminder that we picked an adults only hotel for a reason (no screaming kids or unexpected splashes). The food at Ziggy's and Fresco's is always delicious - and we tried a LOT of both menus! If you're looking for info on seaweed - yes there were days when the seaweed took up a lot of the beach - if you read online you will see this is a natural phenomenon and the resorts are doing their best to contain it! They are doing a great job. If you want to visit the beautiful city of Tulum, you absolutely should not let some seaweed hold you back from visiting this gorgeous place. Visit Tulum, and stay at The Beach! You won't regret it :)…

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff!

We recently stayed at The Beach hotel & it was amazing! ALL the staff were beyond friendly & accommodating. I cannot say enough about how beautiful and clean this resort is. I want to say a special Thank you to Uli, Barbara & Tania for attending to our every need! I highly recommend staying here & would love to stay at this hotel again.

You can always evaluate a place by the spirit of the people that work there. I will let the other reviews tell you about the wonderful beach, rooms, food, and grounds. But I want to personally thank the incredible staff for making The Beach stand out. Tania and Uli are two of the most kind, authentic, and helpful concierge you will meet anywhere in the world. Barbara, Sammy, Antonio, Hector, and the guys at the bar will all know you by name, and you will get to know them too. Antonio helped us get a recipe from a chef at the onsite restaurant, Frescos. We only stayed for three full days and I feel like I know all six people as friends. The rest of the staff are great too. Seriously, everyone. It is truly incredible. I hope the owners of The Beach realize how lucky they are to have this staff! When we had to leave, there were hugs all around and they even reached out to make sure we made it to the airport on time. We are really blessed to have spent time getting to know them and the gorgeous Yucatan. There is so much to do in the area and we will definitely return to the small, quiet paradise. We have traveled the world and The Beach Tulum staff are the nicest we have ever met…

Complete Paradise!

After the drive from Cancun Airport to Tulum, paradise begins at The Beach! The service from start to finish was first class and completely unobtrusive as this is the first hotel that my girlfriend and I have stayed that utilized WhatsApp. Breakfast delivered daily from Fresco’s was such a treat. The staff...Tania and Uli were exceptional! Barbara was the most gracious host and always suggested the best restaurants for lunch or dinner. The spa massages were excellent. The beds on the beach and the service during the day just perfect. Tulum itself is a must visit to relax and slow down - The Beach was amazing in every way even surprising my girlfriend with a dairy-free birthday cake late one evening. Go!

How many rooms do you have? Looking for a large group trip.

Hi, we're looking to book a trip in February and can't decide between the Deluxe beachfront and the Upstairs w/ jacuzzi and rooftop deck. Any tips?

You can’t go wrong either way. My wife prefers the deluxe because it opens right to the beach and has a nice private pool with a view of the ocean. We stayed in the upstairs with jacuzzi also and it’s also great. The jacuzzi is more private. You can more easily star gaze as the pool lights are further away.

Is this an Adult Only hotel?

Uh huh

What is the hotel’s smoking policy? Is smoking allowed on any of the private terraces/rooftops? Also, what type of room should I book if I want to ensure that I’m in the quietest area of the hotel? Are there specific room numbers/room categories that I should ask for?

You have your own terrace or balcony where you can smoke I will recommend, in my opinion the rooftop terrace for more privacy

Where to fly into?

You travel to Cancun and then take a shuttle to Tulum.. :)
