We stayed here with our 10 month old for 6 days and had an overall wonderful time. Some notes: - I had the best massage (hot stone) with Vicky, highly highly recommend! - The food is good, although very expensive (as is the whole of Tulum) and it seemed a little offensive to not have breakfast included at the price we paid for the room. - The staff were a mixed bag - some very competent and friendly and others useless and unsmiling. The concierge was great and when we had an emergency with the baby they helped immediately. - We had a beachfront (ish) room but it wasn't as quiet as we expected, there was substantial noise coming both from bar at Zebra and also the venues on the road. This for us was a real shame as we wanted to just be able to hear the ocean at night, and also it disturbed the baby!…
Great Hotel, big room, huge showers, awesome restaurant!! Book in for the Chef's special dinner, an exclusive 8 course event, fantastic. Huge beach views, great times at the pop up bar on the beach during the day, or the roof bar at night. Salsa dancing classes weekly. This place can be as chill or active as you want to be!!
Loved this place! Had a room with a balcony with a great view of the ocean so could stay there and go down to the lounges on the beach. Nice sized room with a huge shower with two shower heads and the toilet separate from the sinks and shower, which I like. Had two fantastic massages onsite, delicious meals and cocktails and an amazing special 8 course meal. There is salsa dancing nights and other fun. Excellent friendly service all around, And it is close to shopping and other restaurants in the area. Would definitely go back!! Highly recommended!.
Best location. Best service. Huge rooms. Amazing beach scene and service. Def a great place to stay in tulum. I’d recommend staying at or near la zebra as it is the best part of the beach. Beach food is great too. Plenty of day beds for guests.
The accommodations at the resort were perfect! Housekeeping and other staff were available at all times. Someone came to clean our plunge pool every morning, and other staff came nightly for turn down service and to bring tea. The front desk was also able to arrange a private tour for us, as well as airport transportation. The food was great at La Zebra, but I would also recommend dining at some of the other Colibri properties along the beach. Definitely a property I would visit again when in Tulum
