I was not happy with the accommodations. I expected it to be rustic but not that rustic. I really regretted booking 6 nights here to be honest. Perfect place for a backpacker or someone on a really tight budget. The staff was helpful and friendly! The food in the restaurant is not supertasteful and there are not many options (unless...

such a lovely place ! away from the noise, the tourists, it's like camping in paradise ! cabanas are good with nice beds, and a big fan, surprisingly no mosquitos. shower was cold but it didn't bother us, no wifi unless going to the lobby. it's a sustainable eco responsible place so electricity is available only from 7pm to 7am...

Renting one of the cabanas at Zazil Kin is perfect for those who love adventure and like to go camping. They are basic, one outlet so bring an extension cord and one fan. It gets hot so be prepared. While the cabins are limited, they are super close to the beach and the restaurant is good and hotel staff are...

We wanted a nice get-away in tulum, but not spend to much money, as we already had a package deal in playa del Carmen. The hotel was fairly cheap, and the idea of a Cabana on the beach sounded wonderful. However the Cabana we were firstly given was as far away from the beach as it could get. The tulipane...

We spent a week in Tulum, starting camping in Zona Hotelera, then visiting ruins and cenotes from a nice place in town, and we ended at cabins in Zazil Kin. We had shared bath cabins. The restrooms were really nice and near our cabin. The showers were also shared. It was a fine experience. The cold water showers came out...

Ask for a new Cabana with private bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay directly at the beach! The food in the restaurants is excellent! And the prices are ok, 40 Pesos for a beer, about 120 Pesos for the full breakfast menu including for example really yummy pancakes! The bar the beach is also very good! The tacos with Shrimp...

Isolated, quiet, a bit "rustic" by "modern" standards (electricity only from 7p-7a), but if you re a beach traveler who seeks exactly this type of inexpensive (did I mention CHEAP), on-the-beach living, this is it! I'll be back in a flash! Walkable to the National Park, an excellent restaurant & bar on site, and wonderful people. I only saw firsthand...

We love this place! Second time here -- and this time we brought the kids--we traveled with two teen girls who loved it. Zazil kin made some minor upgrades to the property since we were here last --and they are great! They converted an almost unused space into a beautiful and welcoming lobby, with nice bathrooms, sitting area, great decor,...

This place is what it says. It's an eco lodge right on the beach. No real amenities and the wifi is spotty but who needs that stuff, as I said it's right on the beach. We booked a cabana but when we got there, they gave us a room in the hotel. We had super high ceilings and a decent...

We stayed at Zazil Kin for four nights. The cabanas were a bit dirty and were not comfortable. The mattress was poor to sleep on and in the cabana it was extremely hot or cold at night. The electricity works only from 19.00-07.00 in the cabana. Location is on the beach but far from the city. When we stayed there...
