Our stay at Piedra Escondida was such a great escape. We had room 4 right on the beach woth a gorgeous view of the sunrise. Breakfast was included and delicious. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this location for a relaxing stay in Tulum.

The shuttle service listed on their website is what I used. It was a bit pricey but nice SUV and private transfer.

Yes. No worries. Last December we found a/c came on automatically around 8pm and went off around 8am. Electricity was fine 24/7, but not many power points in room so you might want to take a suitable two- or three-in-one adapter if you need to power or charge more than one item. Generally light bulbs gave out little more than glow worms.

Is a beautiful beach but is “hided” between rocks,that’s what it makes “Escondida”. So there is not really a wide beach to walk. Tulum is really nice and around and close by there are beaches were you can walk. I can say the area is pretty safe anyway even if you wanna walk out in close by beaches.
