BEST STAFF AND GUEST SERVICES!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend while we were visiting Tulum. Encantada Tulum staff helped me with planning a romantic dinner with amazing food from their sister restaurant Nü. They also helped us with finding amazing day trip tours. What really stood out to us was when we asked for a taxi to the town at the front desk, they hailed a taxi on the street but the taxi driver tried to overcharge us then the hotel staff stepped in to make sure we didnt get overcharged. Little things like that makes this hotel better than other ones. It's a small hotel with very nice less-crowded beachfront. FYI - It's a sister hotel to NEST which is known to be one of the best places to stay in Tulum. We truly enjoyed staying at Encantada Tulum and will come back to stay here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.…

Couple’s get away.

What an amazing stay!!! We stayed in Cielo which had an amazing view. We loved every minute of our stay. The service is top notch and very friendly. The room is very comfortable and everything has been thought of. The hotel is quiet and secluded and so nice to come back to at the end of a busy day/night. Oh! And Erica, the massage therapist is magical. I hope that we can return very soon!!

Mexican Paradise

It is just a piece of paradise ! Beautiful place and people. The service is incredible. Your are just in front of the beach. If your are looking for a peacefull place to enjoy your wedding, our your love anniversary this is the perfect place. I only can recommand this place to anyone. The food by the way is perfect.

Enchanted

We are back in our routine and continuously talk about this enchanting property. We visited as a family (teenagers) and thought they would be bored but it all turned out to be one of the best hotel stays we all experienced. While we felt a small pool would have been beneficial due to the seaweed season washing all the weeds on to the beach, everything else was flawless. I really don’t know where to begin. The friendliness and helpfulness of the team there or the stunning and extremely well appointed rooms? The whole place really had an element of boho chic but at the same time you felt you’re in luxury. This very small property situated directly on the beach (literally walk in the sand to get to your rooms) over looks the sea is simple yet beautiful while not forgetting the things which make someone stay comfortable. This for us was one do the best hotels on the long coast of boutique properties simply because it was very fitting to the surrounding area from it size, comfort, service and its attention to conserving the environment. We go back any day in a heart beat! …

Amazing place to stay!

Encantada was a dream! We loved it the second we stepped foot via the pebbly entrance. Rooms are spacious and airy with and all important mosquito net! No TV or mini bar, but the beach is literally steps away. All shower gel, moisturizer are all organic and even the mosquito repellent and sun block. Beds were huge and so comfortable! Staff are incredible! Because there are only 8 rooms, it's very very personable and it's amazing. They remember your breakfast order as well as remembering your names. Carlos was awesome! And always made it a point to provide great service. Front of house Eloisa, Alejandra and Roxana were incredible, always gave great advice when going out for dinner and contacted other places for us when we wanted to visit. There isn't as much as a seaweed problem compared to recent history. There is some seaweed but the team diligently rake it up in the mornings. Food is made in the kitchen from their sister restaurant opposite the road. I really enjoyed the food from Nu and it was incredibly tasty. We also ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was very good also. I would definitely go back to Encantada!…

You do not mention the loud bar opposite (see my review) why is this. I am at Encantada now and the noise is dreadful. Surely you know the bar opposite Encantada has changed the hotel from a Paradise into a nightmare???

Dear Robert, Thank you for your inquiry/feedback. As we spoke with you, the bar across from us just recently opened and started having loud music on the last 3 Sundays. We have met with the owner to make sure the situation stops and this way avoid issues with our guests. We have received confirmation that the project is shutting down, so it should not happen again. can we use beach chairs and umbrellas if we eat and drink from bar?

Is there a big seaweed problem at the moment?

Dear Tim, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we have been experiencing along Mexican beaches of the Caribbean the arrival of sargazo seaweed, an environmental situation that stretches from South Africa to Brazil to the Caribbean. It has come and gone for various periods over the past few years and changes daily with the tides. A vast majority of our hotel guests are still enjoying the beauty of the natural and unique setting of Tulum. We are lucky to not only have the beach, but amazing Mayan ruins, beautiful cenotes, clear lagoons and a delicious gastronomy scene as well. Having said that, we have a dedicated team that is working hard daily to mitigate this event by removing and disposing the seaweed from the beach strand. On top of this, we are also currently participating in a coast-wide initiative to find a solution for the seaweed, and we have been active in the various meetings between academics, the Government and the private sector to find durable solutions for our beautiful coast.
