This is a minimally decorated, fairly basic hotel but has a few nice amenities like a pool and a decent breakfast. Breakfast was usually a couple types of bread and a few types of fruit. The coffee is excellent. There were also a couple kinds of juice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They moved us because I had troubles...

Luna Llena is a beautiful boutique hotel located in La Veleta in Tulum. The apartments are bright and modern with high ceilings and their standard is very European. The bathrooms are spacious with high water pressure and always hot water. Also when you have to take a bad road to get there, its worth the ride. You reach a very...

We spent onw week at Luna Llena. The hotel is small and very nice. The staff is great, very helpfull and nice! Breakfast is good, as well as bike service and beach towels. We went to Maria del Mar only one day, and it was nice. Overall we really enjoyed to stay here.

Stayed at Luna Llena for two nights a couple weeks back in January and had a fabulous time. It is a little out of the way and the roads leading up to it are a little rocky and filled with holes, but it is worth it. Lluna Llena has ample parking and a security guard with locked gate- so you...

The staff were all warm, friendly and very helpful. We had very cute and comfortable free bimes from this property and could explore to our hearts content. Breakfast was tasty and you could upgrade with eggs\espressso. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. We had access to a fantastic beach club related to the hotel. The hotel is...

The location is not so central as we have in other places in Mexico. We have our rental car and it is OK for us. The room is very nice and clean. We have pool and everything what we need for our stay. If you have car try this accommodation in Tulum.

This place offers value for money and a peaceful location. The rooms are clean and bright with all the facilities you could need. It is on the edge of town but still within walking distance of everything. There are free bikes to help you get around. The breakfast buffet had a fair selection of food. There is a small but...

My girlfriend and I booked this place last minute, it was the cheapest place we could find. It's as advertised in the jungle and about a mile and half from Tulum town, surrounded by non tarmac dirt roads (should be noted lots of development/boutique hotels/Condos are being constructed in close proximity) The room was clean, toilet was big. Water is...

We had a great deal of trouble finding the place because we got in late but the staff came to find us and stayed late to get us settled in! We could not have asked for better care or service! Great people, great town! ❤️ the place was clean and tasteful!

In a really bad location in Tulum is this little oasis. Veautifully kept and run with a big, friendly heart. Nice rooms, very clean and cosy with balcony. The pool area is greatly landscaped and maintained. All of the staff is truly friendly.

Dear Marie, thank you for spending some time positively commenting your stay at Luna Llena Tulum ! According to your valued opinion, the location of our hotel does not seem to be the best, but then just as described, for surely we are trying to develop the concept of living dipped into nature and tranquility, away from everyday stress. That...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Base camp for everything you want to experience in a Tulum town boutique hotel and then some. Sounds like paradise to us. Bienvenidos! Located on Tulum town jungle side, minutes away from the action of Tulum beach strip, Luna Llena is less a "hotel," and more a home away from home where contemporary style resonates throughout the property. Set amidst peaceful tropical gardens and an outdoor pool. The breezy, soothing rooms feature private balconies and a contemporary design. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Tulum, though immerged into the lush vegetation of the Mayan jungle. ... more   less
