Didn't stay in rooms, just hung out on the loungers and in the restaurant area. Good location, right by the ocean. Family run place, sweet kids. Food ok, definitely clean! lemonade really refreshing. Beach huts look dark and basic but fine for budget accommodation. If you plan to be by the beach and the room is just for sleeping this is...

We stopped by just to have a small meal. We ordered for a beer (It wa a full size though) and an orange juice for drinks. The spot is nice, they have a really nice view. I also ordered some fish tacos and shrimps. They were greassy but good in flavor. Not the best place for eating.

We stopped for lunch. It was nice sitting just above the beach. The food was passable, but the beer was not Corona, it was Coronita - a tiny bottle (for the price of a full beer, of course). It was actually amusing as much as annoying - never seen that before. I looked around and the cabanas looked very basic....

Staff was rude and offered up very poor service. Saw the parking guys trying to fleece patrons at nearby restaurants for MXN50 just to park across from this dump...not even on their property. Facilities old and out dated. There are many great choices in Tulum...don't go here.

My girlfriend and I wanted to stay by the beach and with this being the cheapest place we chose it. Amazing beach view and beach location BUT the service was literally none existent - for example, we were given no pillows, then when I asked for some they gave me one and said they had no more, until I showed...

We woke up to glorious sunshine after several days of rain. After breakfast at our posada (yum Kin), we headed to the beach. We decided to walk there for the exercise, bird-watching, etc. I forgot my flip-flop rule & wore my beach flip-flops for the walk. A big mistake! I had a big ugly blister of the heel of each...

When you arrive it looks very nice, close to the sea with a great view. The cabanas are below basic. No van, no daylight or fresh air. Very humid also the bed (feels like lying down on a wet dog). Due to this its always very warm inside the cabana. Above all, when it's raining, water is poring through holes...

'Rustic' does not begin to describe the cabanas at Playa Condesa. Made from bare logs cobbled together with gaps in between and sand all over the floor, they are better described as beach shacks. A barely functioning plug (that delivered mild shocks when handled) provided the only light in the room. The shower consisted of a water pipe sticking out...

We found the idea of a rustic cabana on the beach very charming, but reality came crashing down. When we arrived, there were no cabanas with private shower left, but the shared toilets and showers were decent. Our cabana was also not directly on the beachside, but two doors down, so at least you could still hear the waves. The...

My boyfriend and I were hugely relieved to find this gem after a couple of nights of spring-break-hell-hole Playa del Carmen. It is a very simple place. We had a room with a cold shower and no toilet (a few steps across the sand outside). The room had a double and single bed hanging from rafters - the single was...
