We loved this place. It is only a block from the Playa street markets and 3 blocks from the beach. The place was cozy and all staff were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the receptionist who was pleasant and a wonderful hostess during our stay!

We spent 3 nights here... no phone, no TV... NO STRESS! We loved this centrally located hotel, the grounds are amazing, and, despite being right in the middle of 5th Ave, QUIET! My wife claims the margaritas are the best she's ever had!

We arrived late and gotta be honest, not overly impressed when we first arrived. We were given a small room on the bottom floor of one of the buildings and the room vas VERY basic. There are no T.V's, radio's or anything. The following morning the front desk offered us a room on the second floor with a great balcony...

Be very careful when using a credit card to pay here. I stayed an extra night and when i went to pay they stole my debit card info and used it in a costco in another part of mexico. Luckily for me my credit card company refunded me but it was in the thousands of dollars. Ive stayed here before...

Love this hotel! It's a perfect little tucked away tropical place that I look for when coming to playa. Now if you want to spend $300 a night for all you can eat, miles of pools, and obnoxious tourists than this isn't the place for you- go to a resort. The hotel is on a great location very close to...

Loved it! Hubby and I came for 4 nights. Room overlooking the pool. Live jazz music pool is cool but refreshing. Breakfast is included about a 10 min walk from the hotel. It's good. Omelettes and fruit. Large water bottle in the room is so nice. Small fridge, not cold enough for ice but good for chilling. Staff is friendly...

Highly recommend. Relaxed spot. Simple rooms. Right off of 5th avenue. Highly recommend. Live music at the bar. Will definitely book this hotel again. Great spot to take in PDC but not noisy at night. Easy walk to all the nightlife and the beach.

It's been years since we stayed at Luna Blue ...Playa del Carmen has exploded - population, buildings...not at all the sleepy beach town...of even 4 years ago. That comes with a lot of negatives...in my opinion! Luna Blue was (is) still a gem.....staff is AMAZING and helpful...the location has gone from quiet to crazy noisy! A new couple of clubs...
