Small boutique hotel, excellent value for money, great location and lastly amazing staff. Michela was so warm and friendly and helpful with every rest, definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you so much for everything.
This beautiful boutique hotel it is so super close to the beach it’s ridiculous: literally a two minutes walk! (Best beach club around: Lido!) Surrounded by beautiful tropical plants it feels like you are staying in a dream! We got room 13: best triple with a small balcony and a stunning view. Very very well located: around the corner from the main street! Hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful, I cannot wait to actually go back. To all the staff a big thank you for making my stay so smooth and pleasant. ❤️ We had a problem with the laundry service that was promptly resolved but if you send delicates, you must specify hand wash! Bit noisy till late night but that is the perk of staying in the heart of Playa, bring ear plugs.. The bathroom plug was a little loose so drying your hair becomes somewhat a chore but hey, you are on holiday so.. take it easy and enjoy!…
Kinbe is a lovely little hotel with super friendly service. I'd been bouncing around AirBnBs in Playa for several months, and felt like treating myself for a few nights. The location is perfect, between the beach and the bustle of La Quinta. The area gets a lot of foot traffic, so light sleepers might want to to ask for something not facing the street. There is a lot of activity from nearby dive shops in the morning, great news for divers. You could eat and drink at a new place every meal of the day, and not exhaust the possibilities within walking distance of this hotel. The price is great too. I'll be back, the next time I spend a long weekend in Playa del Carmen.
It was a nice hotel and I chose it because of its nice location near the beach. I did not know that it was close to 5th Ave, which was also a plus! The hotel was nice, had a nice character, lots of greenery, a nice swimming pool and I went all the way to the roof for great views. The room was quite nice. My bed was not good at all-I think it needed a new mattress. The toilet tank also kept leaking. I don't know if any of the hotels had elevators or not, but this one did not. And there is free coffee but no breakfast (which I knew about). There was some noise at night, possiblly because of the 5th ave.
We stayed at Hotel Kinbe from December 15th to the 24th 2018, I know this review is late, but it was a wonderful experience, staff 10/10 accommodation 10/10 cleanliness 10/10 Leaving and arriving daily was a joy always offered water and a kind word. Coffee available next to front desk, sorry we didn’t return this year.
