I have been travelling with my husband for a few years now. We decided to do a family holiday this time with our children who range in age from 18 to 10. The pools are in need of repair. My son who is 12 cut his leg open in the pool on a broken piece of tile. He should have...

Stayed at the Reef Thanksgiving Week. There were six of us, three college aged and three of us old timers. When staying at All Inclusives we usually stay at 4 or 4 /12 star properties, ie: Iberostar's, Grand Bahia Principe, RIU's. Since we were paying for 5 this time and because of their location to Playa Del Carmen we booked...

We were supposed to stay at this hotel for 9 nights and left after 4. The hotel is set in a nice jungle/garden setting, but the town of Playa del Carmen is so over developed now that you might as well stay in Cancun, rather drive an hour. This was my third time to this area and sadly, I wound...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the hotel and Playa del Carmen as expected. We would like to stress out that an All inclusive hotel in Playa del Carmen is very different from a beach bungalow in Tulum. Totally different services and ambience are offered....

Great hotel! I stayed here end of December 2010. Very nice tropical theme.. plants and trees along all the walkways, it really makes you feel like your walking through a jungle! The room was good, everything was functioning proporly, nice icecold air conditioning. The beach was nice, I always found a spot and there was plenty of room to have...

Wow, so much better than any mega-hotels. Great staff, super clean rooms, lovely pools and beach... and always a beach chair available, what a refreshing change from other all-inclusives! Quiet and low-key, decent food and beautiful sitting area around a natural cenote. FREE bikes, they are in bad shape, which makes it all the more fun! GO, you won't be...

We stayed at the Reef from November 12th through the 19th and loved it. Don't get me wrong there were some things I would have liked to be better which includes the room. We stayed in a basic room on the first floor which was right near the main path to get to the beach, pools and everything else so...

We had a fantastic vacation at the Reef Playacar, the hotel staff is great and they help whenver they can. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable with a choice of pillows and fresh towels every day. Buffet was very good and, in opposite of some reviews, we had no problems at all with eating the wide choice...

My husband and I just arrived back from The Reef. What a wondeful, quaint, relaxing resort. The grounds are absolutely wonderful.
