We never received a key to our room during our sty as the machine that makes keys was broken. That would not have been so bad if someone at the hotel would have had access to the master key to let us in each time however, several times we would get back to our hotel late int he evening and...

We stayed at the Reina Roja for a couple of nights after new year and on the whole were very pleased. It is exactly like the photos and they give you a lot for what you pay (free breakfast, access to the pool and clean beach towels, open bar from 12-24 including alcoholic drinks and cocktails). We had a double...

The decor of this hotel is tasteless and the noise level makes it impossible to get a good night's sleep. It simply gave me a really creepy feeling. About the only thing it has going for it is that it is close to the beach. Other than that, my advice is to stay away!

Dear Guest We appreciate the time you took to give us this valuable feedback and certainly we want to apologize about the noise problem. Although we are a hotel that is pretty alive in the party concept it is important for us to also provide a quiet area to rest for each one of our guests The concept of the...

Everyone likes a good party but this hotel is a sad joke. The noise from their rooftop sound system makes it difficult for every business and condo within blocks of the location. They are hated by the local community!

I had a great time in this hotel. The staff are friendly, the room was comfortable, spacious clean and it is close to the beach. It has a fun roof top pool and great view of Playa. The parties on the roof happen is some seasons when more tourist visit Playa. I had a great time.

My local friend invited me over for a weekend for his birthday. There's a salt water swimming pool by the front desk. Interior was all wood and rustic, decorated with red curtains. Regular lights turn off at night and the red lights cover the interior. Here's a view of my cozy room. Place was secured from all gates and guests...

I had very cool, fun memories from the parties at the Reina Roja roof top even though I never stayed there until last month. I was expecting the same fun and more staying there, however I found the complete opposite. The service was good overall, but the hotel has basically no life anymore. It was pretty sad to see that...

I stayed here with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. We were looking for a hotel near the 5th ave. This is located at the end of 5th ave, but its quirky atmosphere and fun decor will do the talking for you. This is a great place to stay for young adults and party people. Plently of shallow...

Hotel Reina Roja, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Pro - exotic design, cleanliness, staff are friendly & helpful, good location, close to shopping street, few blocks to ADO bus station (to cancun, Tulum) Con - though it fits perfectly with the hotel theme/red-light-district decoration, the techno dance music during breakfast ruined my peaceful morning, I'd prefer jazz, but that's personal taste....
