Nice and confortable hotel. Highly recomended. Its located at the end of the 5th av. which means that it is very quiet. Hotel is very clean and cozy. Looking forward to stay there on my next trip to Playa del Carmen!

Once again...it was GREAT to be greeted by the nicest staff!!!! The rooms are so clean and those beds are just heavenly comfortable!!!! The location is wonderful - away from all the shops/rest but just a few minutes from it all. Once we got back to the hotel in the night from a long day enjoying the sun at Mamitas...

Here it is: the one hotel that truly cares about the comfort and happiness of its guests. First read the "cons" then see why the "pros" far outweigh them! CONS: *soundproofing not so hot. could hear people walking by in the courtyard even with the door and window closed. *loud fan. didn't bother me, but my fiance said it sounded...

We were happy with friendly service from Casa Ticul hotel staff. The hotel itself was small yet convenient for a week stay. It has small swimming pool, but we did not use it very often since we'd prefer to go to the beach and did some diving trips. The hotel also give you coupons that can be used to enter...

My husband and I traveled to Playa Del Carmen for a family wedding in May, which was held at a large all-inclusive resort. We went a few days early and the wedding resort had no rooms for the first few days we were in Mexico, so we decided to try Casa Ticul. My husband was hesitant as we travel to...

This place is great. Full breakfast on the roof ( in good weather) - in the lobby in the rain. Clean modern rooms. Great bed. Friendly efficient staff. Refreshing pool. A+ service. Great value for the money.

This was our second trip to Playa del Carmen as well as our second stay at Casa Ticul. We felt that whenever we were exhausted from seeing the sights and walking down 5th, we always had a place to go and relax (in the A/C). The receptionists are so helpful and polite. I speak very little Spanish, but they were...

My husband and I just got back from staying here for 5 nights. It was a change of pace for us, because we usually stay at all-inclusive hotels. We love Playa del Carmen, so we decided to look for a smaller place in town, and stumbled on Casa Ticul. Everyone was super helpful and courteous. The rooms were great, the...

Hotel Casa Ticul is a very pleasant but small hotel at the very north end of the developed part of 5th Ave. It is NOT one of the big resorts or all inclusive sort of places that seem to dominate Playa del Carmen. That was exactly what I liked about it!! Ticul is out of the frenetic tourist area just...

We just returned from staying at Hotel Ticul for a 7 night in May in room number 4 on the first floor. The hotel was a small boutique hotel on the not so busy side of 5th Ave. Out room was small but comfortable and had enough room for just the two of us. It was very humid so the...
