Fantastic location, budget accom perfect for solo travellers or those who want to be right on 5th ave on a budget. Had a few issues with aircon, wifi and the showers (especially hot water) though (none worked reliably). Included breakfast is very convenient too though.

Free wifi, great location in relation to the beach (although the beach is not the nicest) and the shopping street and night life Lovely staff, always ready to help! Would recommend this hostel There is also a language school which we heard was very good But room was a bit cramped for 3 people and the pool was quite small...

Playalingua is very centrally located 2 blocks from the beach, which is why I chose it. I also chose it because it was very affordable, and I didn't need much since I would be not lounging about in my room ever. With so much to do in the area, who wants to be inside? I rented a single room with...

A very pleasant stay in the middle of all the huzzle and buzzel of downtown Playa del Carmen. Also the place to stay in for Spanish lessons - their speciality. Many types of rooms at decent prices. Brekfast is included.

I've stayed in this hotel twice. Both times were the best. The hotel is very small, yet super cosy in a perfect place. First time I had a single room with shared bathroom. The room was small, but enough space, and with everything you might need. The breakfast is served downstairs everyday by a very cool guy Juan. The second...

Playalingua is comfortable and affordable hotel in Playa del Carmen. Rooms are clean, towels were changing every day (and you will need a fresh towel every day), small and nice pool on their territory and it's cheap! Btw prices include breakfast with fresh fruits and omlet. I wish I could stay longer..

Good value for Cancun location. Clean room. Shared bathrooms for many rooms. Noise from rooftop bar next door reminded me I hadn't packed ear earplugs. Bought some from pharmacy but you don't want to have to need them.

We did 2 Spanish lessons here - very helpful, would have done more but ran out of time. We stayed 2 nights, it's quiet, has a small pool, two blocks from beach, bars, restaurants, ad in quiet part o the 5/10th Ave strip. Breakfast included is cooked and excellent. We would stay again any time and the staff are very...

I did enjoy my staying in Playalingua, the accomodation is basic but the place is clean and the staff is very friendly and accomodating! it is true that it can be quite noisy at night due to the bar next to the hotel but I was so tired that I felt asleep without any problems every evening! If you are...
