We chose Casa Santiago because of the great reviews it was getting on Trip Advisor and generally it lived up to our expectations. Our room had everything we needed and a large comfortable bed. As is usual for deep colonial houses of this nature, not all rooms have external windows. One point to be aware of is that each of...

My wife and I finally made it to Merida and we stayed at the Casa Santiago for a couple of days. It was great, from the setting, to the room, to service provided (even free wine in the fridge). Vince has a first class operation.

My partner and I spent several nights at Casa Santiago in October, as part of a trip around the Yucatan. Casa Santiago was by far our favorite place on the trip -- and one of our favorite travel experiences ever. The room was clean, tastefully furnished, and had (important!) wonderful air conditioning. It looked even nicer than the pictures on...

The owners of Casa Santiago are special people. When we made our booking they were helpful and very accommodating (family of 4 traveling all the way from New Zealand). Then when for personal reasons we had to cancel our booking at the last minute they gave us a full refund, despite the fact they were under no obligation to do...

My wife now thinks that I am a genius for having found this place. Most of the reviews here mention the host, and Vince is certainly a plus. But the home itself is enough. Beautiful, stylish, and comfortable. The place has modern appliances and great room AC (for me a must in this town which can be very hot)! We...

Staying at Casa Santiago was a great experience. We really enjoyed Merida and the location of Casa Santiago was great for seeing the historical square, taking day trips to see Mayan ruins at Uxmal and Chichen Itza, and the Flamingos at Celestun. Vince was a great help contacting tours for us and helping to make our vacation go very smoothly....
