My husband and I just spent four nights at Los Arcos and loved every minute of our time there. The B&B is filled with interesting art and the patio is filled with a variety of beautiful plants. Our garden room was comfortable, only steps away from the pool. Los Arcos is close to many good restaurants and Merida sights. Our...

I cannot rave enough about how wonderful our stay at Los Arcos was. The property is on a quiet street, a very short walk to the center of historic Merida. When we arrived, David recommended a nearby bar for happy hour, which was our first stop and one of the best experiences we had in Mexico socializing with locals. We...

If you have read previous Reviews of David's "Los Arcos" there is little more that can be added relative to the 'Physical Plant' of this Fantastic "Oasis" in Merida. We stayed there for 5 nights,  Feb/2016.  The real Key to this place is David, the Owner and on-site 'Fount' of information for Merida.   We have been travelling in both...

My soulmate and I stayed for 8 nights at Los Arcos in February 2016 and loved it. It's an unusual B & B, but right to our taste. David, the owner and a consummate host, was always kind, gentle and anticipated our needs. The home itself is more of a museum with antiquities and art from around the world. There...

After staying at B&B's around the world, we rate Los Arcos and David Reed as the best. Our room with two queen beds was larger than most, with very high ceilings that gave a sense of space and comfort. Walk into a gorgeous courtyard with pool and pretty plants. It is a wonderful place to just sit and talk or...

My first time in Merida! Came down looking at realestate for my partner and I (because of House Hunters Internationals ) Dave was amazing, his place tranquil and inviting. The breakfasts was absolutely delicious. Recommend this place to anyone who likes a relaxing experience.... Ended up buying a house here.

We don't usually stay in BnBs, but after reading the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to give it a try. And are we glad we did! The rooms are very comfortably furnished, and include thoughtful touches, such as a light-up makeup mirror, bed pillows of varying density, and a huge stack of towels. The rooms are located at the...

Los Arcos never ceases to amaze. Dave is exquisite in knowledge of the area, Consuela is an amazing cook and the rooms are always clean and beautiful. the pool was refreshing after hiking pyramids, and this is definitely a place that once it gets in your blood you will never want to leave.

It goes without saying that the end of any year, not spent in Merida, foretells of misfortune to come. And any stay in Merida, not at Los Arcos, defines a bad trip with many disappointments. As usual David, our host, was at his best. Sourcing exotic and satisfying meals from all that Merida has to offer, is his forte. The...

Didn't even want to leave the B&B during the day, loved every minute of my stay- David is an amazing host and you will love him and his beautiful home. Also breakfast was AMAZING. I wasn't usually hungry again till dinner! Lots of fun places that are easy to get to through the city, or hanging out by the pool...
