Location is great. Five blocks from the Zocolo. Great breakfast. Nice swimming pool for dipping after hot days. A wonderful hostess. Good guidance for tours. This hotel is not for the luxury-minded tourist but for those of us who are flexible and use a hotel for sleeping.

My husband and I went for a couples massage and the entire experience was excellent. My husband and I both agree that it was one of the best massage we have ever had. I also had a quick 20 minute facial .....fabulous The spa is relaxing and very clean. We both plan on going back. The girls are lovely and...

My husband and I spent a week here and it was fabulous. The location is great! No busses go down this street which is a huge plus. The location also allows you to walk to many of the central attractions. There are many squares in walking distance and many different restaurant options. There is a Scotiabank bank machine located close...

I did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on it but I did book a bikini wax at the spa and would strongly recommend no one else ever do so. I don't think the lady doing the waxing had ever done it before. It was extremely painful and slow and I didn't even let her finish. It was...

Dear Kayla, we are really surprices about your review. The service that you get it was a simple bikini area waxing. The therapist that give you the service has a lot of experience and she told me that was only a line waxing ... The waxing that we use it's "spanish waxing", so it's very esasy to clean, It's complete...

There are many choices in Merida and we picked this B&B mainly because of the prompt response from Patricia and her help in organising our transport. We got the upstairs room which you have to go up a narrow spiral staircase but they helped with the luggage so it was not an issue for us. Simple and plain room but...

We spent 2 nights here as a couple and enjoyed our stay. We got a room at the second floor, so dealing with large bags and spiral staircase was tough but we figured it out. This not a luxurious or boutique hotel, but more of a budget option with great service and food. The location is also close to the...

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Casa Carmita, which is more like a B&B. Arranging our stay, we were exposed to the friendliness of Patricia even before we got there. Not being very good Spanish speakers, we appreciated her good English. We were in a ground floor room, looking out at the swimming pool, which we never used. The room...

We really enjoyed our stay at casa carmita. Travelled though Mexico for 2 weeks and stayed in a number of places and this was probably our favourite. Simple and small hotel with only a few rooms and everything was straightforward, relaxed and done properly. The owners were really nice and very happy to give tips and show maps etc of...

Patricia was extremely helpful is we wanted a cab or to find a restaurant or ATM. We enjoyed our...
