Hacienda San Pedro Nophat is in the village of San Pedro Nophat a suburb of Merida. It is outside the ring road and very quiet, peaceful and safe. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. There is English, French and Spanish satellite TV (Shaw from Canada). Wifi is available for free at a... More

Spent two nights at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat on the eastern edge of Merida , easy to find and not too far from Uxmal and the many Merida attractions. The Canadian owners are extremely helpful, the hot breakfasts are great, and the several acres of grounds and gardens have birds and butterflies. WIFI is excellent and there are more English... The feeling of rest and relaxation is the order of the day. If you have plans to tour either Iona or Jr are experts in the area. I love Merida but it can be busy loud and hectic. I prefer an quieter place with the ability to take a 15 minute bus ride into the center of town. Be sure... More

Just returned from an awesome stay at the hacienda; the owner is a lovely lady who runs a personal, customer-oriented operation. Located only minutes from all that Merida has to offer, it still has the feel and ambiance of being in a small Mexican town. The small and friendly staff keeps on top of things and aims to please whether... More

If you want to experience a little of Mexico outside the beach areas, then travel to Merida and stay at this Hacienda. It would also be a good location for visiting the many Mayan ruins in the area Conveniently situated near the main highway it is an oasis of calm and green. It's surrounded by the village which used to... More

Iona and Jr will make your stay memorable. The fact that you are staying in a 17th century Hacienda is pretty incredible in the first place, You are 10 minutes away from Merida which when is comes to peace and quiet is key. The place is wonderfully kept up the grounds lush and full of birds for bird watchers. I... More

We had a great experience here. Owners very attentive and interested in providing a great experience. Our three children ages 12, 11, and 9 had a ball and loved the pool. We enjoyed a great breakfast and the grounds in general.

We enjoyed a five-night stay at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat, a charming rehabilitated old hacienda about 20 minutes from downtown Merida. Iona and JR are kind hosts and Iona in particular offered lots of ideas for activities in the area, including recommendations for local restaurants. Teresa, who cooked and served breakfasts, is very nice and breakfasts were fine. Our room... More
