Loved my stay here with my boyfriend. Casa Don Alfredo met our expectations, and offered excellent value. From timely pick up at the bus station to very friendly, attentive, patient and accommodating reception staff. Breakfast is delicious and the room was very clean. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other people.

Perfect oasis in a lovely neighborhood. This is a very friendly B and B. My friend and I were welcomed by Carlos with open arms. He knew our names and had been waiting for us. He took our bags, gave us water and made us feel at home within 5 minutes. Our room was lovely, we had a view to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful B&B last week. It was fabulous. The home is beautifully preserved, full of amazing antiques and it´s location is very convenient, about 10 minutes walking distance from centro. The breakfast is delicious and very well served, big portions. The owner are very friendly people we definitely think we made new good friends.... More

Me and my wife had the pleasure of staying at Casa Don Alfredo for 4 days. A welcoming and beautiful house where Carlos and Martha made us feel so at home. Wonderful surroundings. Clean and comfortable rooms. Hospitality that was second to none. BREAKFAST WAS THE HIGHLIGHT of the four days we spent there. Carlos and Martha, THANK YOU SO... More

By far the best hotel/b&b experience we had in Mexico, absolutely made our stay in Merida. Wonderful old mansion with retro 70's hotel-esque extension out the back run by the very thoughtful Carlos and his charming mother. Perfect location for us- just out of the hussle and bussle of the centre of town but not so far that it was... More

Casa don Alfredo is far from mere formality that you can face in big chain hotels. The rooms are very simple (shower, good bed, but there are no TV sets or micros). But the most pleasant in this B&B host is an atmosphere of country house (meanwhile, it's about 10 minutes to the city center). It's very calm and quiet... More

We have just stayed with Carlos and his family for 5 nights (we extended because it was so nice) and only have good things to report. We travel the world extensively and are currently on a round the world trip 3 months in. We have seldom come across a host as genuinely helpful and attentive as Carlos who simply wanted... More

Based on the positive reviews, we made a reservation at Casa Don Alfredo earlier this year. However, it was immediately clear to us that the 40+ glowing reviews appear to be fictional entries rather than those from real visitors. I highly recommend that you do NOT book a room here! While $35 may seem like a budget accomodation, you can... More

This is a MUST! For a very reasonable price you are taken into the hearts and souls of Carlos and Martha, a son and mother team who have made their old Casa into a treasure!!! For a TRUE Mexican, Yucatan, Merida experience this is TRULY the best there is. I could fill this review on the scrumptousness of the breakfast... More
