I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Medio Mundo! Its location is ideal. The atmosphere is lush with plants and is serene. Although I was there in July, I did not need air conditioning. The overhead fan was more than adequate. Without hesitation I would stay there again.

A very comfortable, well kept small hotel with a charming open air courtyard painted blue. A delightful, simple breakfast was served in a sunny cool courtyard with a small swimming pool. Our room was nicely decorated with Mexican bedspread and patterned cushion, the light fittings were local too. A good sized bathroom and wardrobe area. All the windows had mosquito...

We arrived in Merida on a Friday noon, and our rooms were ready in 10 mins. We were greeted by Guiler and he was really nice and welcoming. We got into our room and it was exactly how it was in the photos. It was spacious, clean, quaint and colorful. We really felt we were in a Spanish colonial house,...

This hotel is really a oasis in the center of Merida. The rooms are very clean and the beds are perfectly comfortable. Even if you book a room without ac it is quite okay. The vegan breakfast was amazing ( normally I am a meat lover) and the staff is super helpful. Definitely recommend to stay here!!!

The hotel is very tastefully appointed - simple but elegant and charming. Beautiful colors in the rooms and courtyard. The pool area serves as a breakfast and general seating area - also very charming and pretty. The owners live on the premises and their attention to detail shows in every aspect of the hotel.

We really loved this hotel. Beautifully crafted gardens, courtyard and furnishings. Service was excellent and the location couldn't be better. The colour of the decorations and walls and care taken in decorating really made it a visual treat. The breakfast was simple but very good quality and fresh.

Hotel has been lovingly restored to reflect the beautiful architecture. Rooms surround a vibrant blue courtyard and you feel like you're in a bygone era, but with all the modern amenities needed. Our room had A/C but wasn't used with the breeze and ceiling fan. Back pool and bar area are lovely. Breakfasts are healthful and tasty. Wish there would...

This was my second stay at Hotel Medio Mundo and it was even more wonderful this trip because of the addition of Lo Que Hay, the vegan cafe. Great, healthy breakfasts every morning and delicious dinners. I'm not vegan, so I was not prepared to be so impressed. I was impressed! Fresh fruits and vegetable dishes with lots of variety...

This is my second time staying here, and will return again. A very nice, but simple traditional Yucatan building in the historical section of town, walking distance to the town square. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfy. Now offers Vegan dinning, which was a nice experience, but I still like meat! All the staff was very nice and accommodating....

Large, spacious room, with high ceilings in a traditional building. Much of our Merida experience was about the courtyards and interiors of the old buildings in the town...and staying in one can really make your stay. The rooms and courtyards of MedioMundo are worth visiting even if you're not staying there...so staying there is wonderful. Added to this is the...
