Just blocks from downtown, this older hotel was very clean and maintained. Front Desk was very helpful but spoke little English. Had a very spacious corner room (317). Room 310 was wheelchair accessible. Restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced. We paid 1770 pecos for 2 nights. Booked directly through the hotel. No amenities in the room. TV only...

We were booked at the Aluxes as part of a private tour. The advantage was that we could walk to the Plaza Grande and some other parks and museums, but it was on a very busy, noisy street. Our room was about the quality of a Rodeway Inn, and both the sink and shower were dripping. However, despite appearances, the...

We stayed at Hotel Los Aluxes for a week. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the swimming pool was also very clean. Although we could see that someone was working on maintenance we never heard a noise and resting time was peaceful. It is located within walking distance of Down Town/ Historical zone of Merida. We were also...

Is nice for holiday or with kids. It's pretty close to downtown and there are several nice places near. For business it might not be the best option, there is not enough internet signal or work area. But for vacations its pretty good.

Room was quiet, but the furnishings need to be updated. it was in need of maintenance, and a more thorough cleaning. only one chair was provided in the room. The hotel is centrally located in the city of Merida, and only a short walk to most of the attractions within the city that were of interest to us. I would...

This hotel is in desperate need up being updated. The hallways look better than the rooms. The beds are uncomfortable and old. There was mould in our room and bathroom. We ordered room service and food was terrible and cold. And the worst part , woke up to a mouse in our room. Wehave lived in Mexico for 8 years...

Good location near city center. Friendly staff. Needs better beds. The breakfast buffet has good regional food. Needs an upgrade in elevator too. Good prices for the Merida averages. You can walk to the main plaza and cathedral by 60th street wich has a lot of souvenirs and craftmans stores.

I had to be in Merida for a business trip. The organization booked the hotel for me. This was the first time in Merida. I had never heard of this hotel. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff is very attendant. The room I had was OK. However, the TV was an old TV with a 15" screen. The...

The room was very clean and spacious. I stayed at the 5th floor. The shower was very good. Beds were a little hard but I had such a good sleep. The AC worked perfectly and the staff was really nice and helpful.
