Great value for this centrally located (4 blocks to main square) hotel. We appreciated the on site secured parking - most downtown small hotels have off site parking. When you get into the hotel and pool area you cannot hear the street/city noise. The hotel has a decent pool with a bar and nice hang out area. The food and...

Hotel Maria del Carmen is a good choice if you are on a limited budget and not looking for a five star experience. The swimming pool is very good for children. I had slight issues with AC but service took care of that. Room also had a slightly stale smell.

We spent three days at Maria del Carmen, using it as a base to visit Merida and the local area. This hotel is only a 10-12 minute walk from the ADO CAME (downtown) bus station and about a 12-15 minute walk from el Centro. The hotel is clean; the staff courteous; our room (jr. suite) was spacious. The pool has...

Excellent location, 5 minutes walking to Downtown and 5 minutes walking to bus station. The surrounding it feels very safe. Rooms are OK with the basic needs (in Merida AC is a basic need). The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is OK too, and if you like to try something new, there is a farmers market 5 minutes walking...

Good value: comfortable with all you need without lots of frills. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff that speak English. Within easy walking distance of town centre. Breakfast good though restaurant otherwise indifferent...but lots of good eating places close by.

I stayed at the Hotel Maria del Carmen in beautiful Mérida México Yucatán from October 28th through November 3, 2016. I was there for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon. Everyone of the staff was awesome, Jony, Sbdey, Gabriela. They were so helpful with suggestions from where to eat, what to eat, what do and how to get around. They...

This hotel was probably not our best stay. this property appears to cater for groups. The pool and bar area was great but surprised that they closed the bar around 9.30 or 10 pm. breakfast was very basic

My girlfriend and I were traveling from Cancun and booked this room ahead of time and got a confirmation number so there would be no problems. Well, there were problems. Instead of being welcomed and given our keys, we had to use the iphone to prove that we had a confirmation number. It still didn't matter though because the hotel...

The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed here for two nights, three days and I really enjoyed the pool and the location of the hotel. It's only a couple minutes by foot from the center where the cathedral of Merida is and its close to a lot of good local restaurants. I'd...

Stayed at the hotel during the Easter with some friends. This hotel is not a luxury place but it is really nice. It has very clean rooms friendly staff and so much more. The hotel is located very close to a park area where you can go see festivals and get good local food. The hotel also has a buffet...
