I was traveling with my son and thought it would be nice to stay at a bed & breakfast. What a great decision! Larry was so accommodating and hospitable! He picked us up from the airport and gave us a short tour of the city pointing out the main areas and building on our way to La Casa Lorenzo. After...

Its a two way street. It is so easy and actually delightful to be nice to guests when they are so nice. "Yang" and her son were great. Interesting and pleasant. I'm glad that the timing was good in that my personal errands made it possible to help Yang with her bus tickets, etc. I heard from her after their...

Merida is one of our favorrite destinations and in Merida, La Casa Lorenzo is the most delightful place to stay. Located within walking distance of the colonial heart of the city, it is a wonderful combination of traditional aechiture and modern amenities (including a solid Internet connection.) Larry, our host, was the most patient, helpful and fri r ndly innkeeper...

Thank you Nancy. It was a pleasure to meet you and have you as a guest. And thanks for mentioning the good internet connection. Yes, as a geek I have to have my electronics up to date including the telephone system with phones in the rooms and free calls to the USA and Canada. I also enjoy making those breakfasts...

Although this was a short stay due to missed plane connections, it was a wonderful change for me. Larry is a great host, charming and helpful to all his guests. The B&B is centrally located and made walking to many sites and restaurant's possible. The daily breakfast was a sight to be hold - and great tasting. Keep it going...

Casa Lorenzo is a beautiful, well located B&B in the Centro Historico of Merida. There is an airy central courtyard, with well appointed rooms around the periphery. Larry (Lorenzo) is a fulsome host and gives a knowledgable, insider, briefing plus maps of what Merida has to offer. Notable are the freshly prepared breakfasts, the fastest wi-fi we have encountered in...

My partner and I really liked this beautiful and peaceful place (the photos don't do it justice.) Larry, the owner, has a certain Hemingway-es que flair, and is a wonderful and generous host: he cooks a savory breakfast in the morning and then, if you're lucky, offers you an evening cocktail that is one of the best in town. We've...

This was our second time staying @ LaCasa Lorenzo. Larry is a witty, charming host, who goes out of his way to make your stay memorable & enjoyable.
