We booked with Hotel Casa San Angel in Merida, Yucatan Mexico for 5 nites at end of march beginning of April. Everything was really quite nice. It is truly a renovated Mexican hacienda with beautiful colours and enchanting rooms ours was on the main floor right off the courtyard which was very quiet and private. The only thing that might...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Casa San Angel for a week while touring the Yucatan and the city of Merida. We found our room to be well furnished, thoroughly clean and most comfortable. Bed and shower were exceptional. The concierge, Roberto, helped us with local trips and guides and made great suggestions about local attractions, of which there...

Great location, great service, good breakfast, provincial like treatment. Very easy going hotel, if you need to park your car, the lot is 1 block away and they give you the key to the chain on the garage, if you arrive late you have to ring the bell to get them to open the main door. The room, bed, pillows,...

wonderful experience in this special hotel with ambiance and attention to detail very evident Staff - especially Roberto, right on the mark with friendly and prompt service. They all seem to be very happy employees dedicated to making your stay memorable. AC noisey at night I would consider the price a bit high for the area.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, beautiful courtyard and our suite looked great too! I loved the small swimming pool and the overall decor. The continental breakfast that was included in our room rate was really small (one toast and coffee...) so we ended up ordering more food from the menu, everything we tried was tasty. Very friendly staff. We got to our...

We, a party of 4, spent two nights here. One room was fine, especially if you enjoyed a cat or two, who were fed just outside our door. However, the other room was a disaster. The air conditioner did not work and the staff would not move us to another room that 1st night. Sleep was impossible in that humid...

A charming small hotel within walking distance to the center of Merida. Delicious food serviced in a quiet peaceful atmosphere. A small shop inside filled with beautiful clothes, souvenirs, and pottery.

Very interesting building, with nice architecture, friendly decorations, wall paintings of a strange beauty, luxurious plants and good facilities... The tourist can also find old and interesting pieces of furniture... Two "talking" parrots animates the atmosphere and completes the boutique-like look of the hotel...

I can not tell you how lucky we feel to have chosen this place. It's nothing fancy as far as annenities but it's absolutely beautiful, rooms centered around a open air courtyard, small porches, great breakfast and the coffee is amazing. Wewill be back!

Great breakfast area with tasty breakfast and good coffee. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. Secure parking just a few steps away. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
