I searched online for weeks for the perfect place to stay for my 40th birthday trip. When I saw the photos on the Casa Sirena website, I felt that THIS was it! I was a little worried about it not being ON the beach, but honestly, when I got there, I realized that the less than 10 minute walk to...

We've been coming to Casa Sirena for many years now. It really is like a second home now. Familiar, comforting, and good for the soul. We walk in that front door, and the stresses of home just seem to fade away. Steven is not just our inn keeper, but a friend who we're always so happy to re-connect with upon...

I was fortunate enough to be at Casa Sirena for a New Years Eve get together with friends. I saw the operation, looked the facility over very well and more importantly met Steve and witnessed his care and commitment to making sure that everyone was attended to and had a fabulous time. I look forward to actually spending time there...

Read about the amazing rooftop happy hour at Casa Sirena in a Rough Guide. Thinking they had a bar up there we decided to check it out. Steve, the owner, happened to be out front when we dropped by and he explained that the happy hour is for guests only. He invited us in for a tour anyway. What a...

Casa Sirena is protective of the privacy of our guests, and the hotel is only open to the public for tours between 10 am and noon, Monday - Friday. Glad you stopped by, and I was delighted to invite you to join the hotel guests for the "Sunset fort he Fun Set" happy hour!

After reading the last review, i have to comment that this is a B and B with humble appeal. Our stay in Isla was amazing and the owner as well as his staff made us feel like family. Casa Sirena is the place you go to meet travelers from different backgrounds and hang out in a social community environment. During...

We are just finishing up an amazing stay at Casa Sirena with the wonderful Bev as our host! We were here at the same time as the reviewer below who said this place was terrible..I must say that the website, reviews and pictures represent Casa Sirena exactly the way it is...the reviewer should not have come here if she wanted...

Glad you enjoyed your stay and the people you met over drinks at happy hour. Casa Sirena has been designed as an escape from the distractions of daily life; who needs a TV or a phone in paradise? Isla Mujeres is indeed a special place, in spite of the limitations of its sewage system :) Steve Broin, Innkeeper

Casa Sirena lacks so many things!!! I cant believe it ranked number one!! How is that possible reviewers? Lets start with the fact that you cant flush toilet paper in the toilet! They have a note asking you to throw it in the garbage can next to the toilet that has NO cover!! That is plain gross!!! They also dont...

As soon as you realized the horrific mis-match between your five-star expectations and the realities of our small hotel on this tiny island, an immediate conversation with the Innkeeper would have been appropriate. We would have offered prompt assistance to cancel your Booking.com reservation and delivered you (and all your baggage) to the ferry in our cute little Tuk Tuk...

I'm a continued repeat guest of Casa Sirena. I opted to visit for Halloween/Dia de los Muertos for this recent visit and I'm happy I did. Unfortunately, Steve, the owner, was away for my stay but I had the great opportunity to meet his guest innkeeper, Beverly. Beverly was a welcoming and gracious host. Halloween party on the rooftop was...

It is unfortunate that photos of the annual Casa Sirena Halloween Party cannot be posted in this reply to your review... the guests all received complimentary "Day of the Dead" face paint and looked quite festive (and a bit tipsy). Glad you enjoyed your return visit!

If you do one thing in Isla, stay at Casa Sirena! It is truly one of the most lovely and enjoyable places I've stayed anywhere in the world. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We were warmly greeted with a cold beer and wash cloth while we sat and visited with the one- of -a-kind Bev, who was our...

A vacation is always more rewarding when shared with fellow travelers. The resident Innkeeper at Casa Sirena strives to nurture a spirit of community among our guests. Our common-table breakfast service and complimentary sunset cocktail party provide an opportunity to make new friends and share the wonderful experiences that make Isla Mujeres such a special place.

Travelled with group. Shared #3 suite with my friend. Spacious, ocean view. All rooms are amazing. Very clean. Staff is wonderful. Steve, the owner, ensures a great experience for his guests - he is a great happy hour host! Don't miss the magic show with Lucas and Spanish guitar with Fabio. Steve's creative touches around the hotel are lovely -...

Casa Sirena is more than my business. It is also my home. I love entertaining and meeting new people; serving cocktails at our sunset happy hour is the highlight of every day.
