Very quite and well kept hotel away from the noise of downtown however you need to be careful of getting gouged by the concierge. They go out of their way to be helpful, however they tack on an addtional 10-20% to whatever activity you buy. I cant help but feel that they're just out to make a buck off of...

Beautiful villas, small and quaint resort, awesome pool and tiki bar. However for golf cart rentals, taxi to and from ferry, and any tours, do not do at resort. Take taxi into town to do so - many less USD's!

Great staff, clean rooms, beautiful grounds, warmest pool ever, super location.... Villa Vera exceeded my expectations. When I booked, I was concerned that the location would be too far from Downtown Isla / North Beach and the best restaurants. As it turned out, it was an all round super place to stay especially for my husband and I who love...

Gorgeous Grounds, Beautiful pool, and a bar right in the pool! Service staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean, and views beautiful. Only complaint is the noise from the shipyard during the afternoon, but the rooms are pretty sound resistant themselves so it wasn't major. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

We have been visiting Isla Mujeres for the last ten years, it has a very special charm. Truly a place to get away from it all, but the hotel on Isla to help you do that is Villa Vera. Although you aren't on the beach, being near a beautiful Marina is a great second place. And you are truly centrally...

Villa Vera is away from the main "resort areas". But the security is great and the neighborhood though a little working class is quite safe. the HUGE benefit was that is was a few blocks from the CHEDRAU their super market, which was well stocked adn compae it to any Publix,Walbaums, Harris Teeter or other high end market her in the...

This hotel is so nice, there are only 20 something rooms so you don't have to worry about to many people at the pool, to much noise, long waits for drinks, etc. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax! The hotel property is kept super clean. It's also in the perfect spot on the island too. It's right...

We spent 2 weeks in January ,found the staff all very polite and friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. The pool and bar area was well supplied with chairs, it was nice not having to compete with the towel on chairs brigade. Restaurant was good, though there were several other excellent eateries and bars within walking distance as well...

Spent our first night in a studio...didn't like it... very dark and all open so no privacy or separation if one person gets up before the other...no fridge etc Then we paid extra and moved to a full size villa with full keichen and it was great!

Just returned from 10 days of relaxation at Villa Vera. This was our 3rd year in a row at this resort. The resorts had very good service, a polite and attentive staff, and well maintained rooms and associated areas. The only negative was the lack of chairs and umbrellas around the pool. This cause quite a ruckus one day. After...
