There's nothing objectively wrong with D'Gomar; the place in relation to its price tag, however, is strongly disappointing, compared with other places on Isla Mujeres. Our first hotel was booked solid on the last night, so we moved to D'Gomar for (thankfully) only the our last night. The previous hotel included free coffee, a bright and airy room, a fridge,...

Clean rooms, AC, whimsical carved furniture (sea creature motifs), quiet, even facing the road & sea. My room faced the sea & around corner there was a table with chairs to enjoy watching the island life. Central & close to restaurants & dive areas (people were scuba diving right from the beach). From the hotel one can walk around the...

We arrived on the island and we didn't know where to sleep. This is the first place we found. The guy at the reception wasn't super nice. However in the end we had a really good experience. The rooms are clean and nice, the hotel is perfectly located on the island - right in front of the port and close...

We have stayed here a few times now. It's cheap, it's clean and you're right across the street from the ferry and close to everything downtown. It can get a little noisy during the day if your room is facing the street but quiets down tremendously after the sun goes down. The beds are firm but comfortable. The A/C is...

We had a clean room with great AC spotless lines and very quiet. Even though we faced the Ferry Dock by midnight all was silent. We were able to cross the street and go directly to our room or back over to the dock. Free coffee and water were available and the staff was friendly and helpful. With in a...

Right next to ferry port and able to walk everywhere on north part of island.. food/beach/shopping/bars etc... the hotel has their own golf cart rentals and will give you a deal for staying there. Drove to south part of island one day. No frills but who cares when you're on vacation and never in your room!

Stayed here with a group of students. The location is convenient to ferry, beech and many mainstream restaurants and shopping areas. The price was reasonable and the rooms clean. I plan on returning next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel D'Gomar. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms had AC which was awesome. It was very cheap and we got a night free for staying over a week. The room was clean it was across the street from the ferry dock. Nothing was ever a far walk from this hotel.

Don't expect too much. It's affordable, clean and worth a try if you normally are a 4 or 5 star player. For the money it's a great location and Frrrrank the owner is really a nice host. Put your big boy pants on for once, save mucho denaro and give it a try. With a little touch up and a...

This hotel is in a good position opposite the port but it needs a lot of attention. Our room overlooked the street and we had a balcony but there was a wide opening with no barrier making it totally unsafe for children as there was a sheer drop to the street below and there was no light on the balcony....
