We loved our stay!
We searched online, read reviews and settled on Na Balam. We were delighted with our choice (so much nicer than the horrible high rise Avalon across the way). The hotel is nice and small with various little bungalows set in a...More
Upon arrival the batteries were out on our air conditioner/fan, in a hotel that is just a basic maintenance I would not to have to expect to complain about, The hot water was spotty. The price of the hotel is not worth the location, don't...More
I stayed here for a friend’s wedding. This was a generally relaxing, tranquil hotel with a great location on a beautiful beach but it is seriously over-priced for what you get. The term eco-resort felt loosely used & I ultimately took it to mean no...More

The Felix wasn’t actually a beach bar with beach access. It was located on the beach, but more near the cove across from Mia Reef. There was a wall around it preventing beach access. Na Balam has a beach bar and restaurant with chairs and table, beds and lounge chairs located directly on the beach. It’s called Oceanus. Plus there are plenty of other beach bars all along Playa Norte, so this should not be an issue. Have fun! It’s a great place!
