We chose El Milagro because it had a great reputation for hospitality and a "real Mexico" feel, and it did not disappoint! We spent a week with two teenage girls in tow. Tithe rooms were really cute with comfortable beds, good AC, and everything we...More
I absolutely love this place. Inga Eric and all the staff are the most wonderful people you could ever meet. The balcony of Caribbean view 1 is a great place to people watch. Very much enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards also
When asked what kind of lodging this is, we are hard pressed to come up with an apt description. Perhaps a hotel that feels more like home and family is the best way to describe this magical place. Every detail of the hotel is so...More
We had the Caribbean 1 suite. The first morning as we sat on the deck drinking coffee we broke out in applause at the spectacular sunrise.

Our room (Villa 1) was perfect for the 3 of us. Its outside the compound but that didn't matter much. Although the road can be a bit loud. The facilities there are great, outdoor shower, fresh water pool, outdoor kitchen(s), and hammocks all over.

The beach area is small but you can swim in it, it just has a little bit of sea grass but it's not too bad. The pool is small, I believe it is considered a dipping pool but we did not go in it on our visit (not sure if it's filtered our not). The rooms do stay nice and cool, my suggestion would be to stay in a ground floor unit, you would not want to go up and down the stairs with a 10 month old. Hope this helps!
