First- Street numbers in this town are in '5's' so -on 25th St- this hotel is only 5 blocks from the shore. I'm sitting at the huge hotel pool now, under the equally large sun shade. Both are very much appreciated. Hotel is scrupulously clean. Beds are good. Pillows are much better than average. We have a working refrigerator in our room and the AC (though it takes a while) cools the room very effectively. Always have hot water, as well as bath towels and bath mat. Large 'beach towels' are available from the front desk. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic, but they're surprisingly quiet (even thought the street would suggest that they wouldn't be). Also there is enough light to read in bed, which is always rare with modern/economy lighting. For me the only downside for the hotel is that there isn't a room safe; so we put our valuables in the hotel safe. This has been a really nice budget hotel (which, by the way, has ready access to lots of places for meals) and I'd come back here.…
This little local gem of a local hotel is situated between the center of the city of San Miguel and only about 1 km from the airport. We had light luggage, and walked from the airport to the hotel, which is a short 8-minute walk to the central square and the pier. The hotel's quartyard is the place for breakfast and relaxation. There's a pool there too, just long enough for some not so serious lap swimming. Our room is 215, overlooking the pool from the 2nd floor. The signature blue-and-yellow color combination is beautiful, only topped by the friendly staff, especially Cati and Lizeth who both speak sufficient English. Finally, there's a supermarket, Aki, right around the corner from the hotel.
The hotel itself is a good size and in a reasonable location, walking distance to the centre and ferry. At the time when I stayed (May), the hotel was infested with cockroaches that I spotted in the hallways (both alive and dead) and my room had quite a lot of mosquitos which I had to kill. The bathroom was also full of small flies. The staff were mostly helpful, though I was chased down the street on my departure and accused of taking a towel. I returned to the hotel, where the receptionist then spoke to the cleaner who verified all towels were accounted for. No apology for the misunderstanding or delay to my departure. It was a ridiculous way to treat a customer. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, nor I would stay there again.
Nice,Mexican style hotel. Friendly stuff, nice room, especially the huge bed!!! Also very clean! Beautiful pool area.Pretty close to the port and the center of Cozumel (we went to restaurants and cafes on foot) If you just need a nice and decent place to stay its the right choice!
Great stay at this very Mexican looking hotel. Good location. Staff were excellent - nothing was to much trouble. The pool was great. Only thing that was lacking was the breakfast - it was very boring
