All oceanfront rooms, each with patio or private balcony for you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets or you can relax under the palapas on the ocean or around the fresh water pool. Friendly/helpful staff - on-site restaurant where food is freshly prepared and you can get a quick snack or full meal - on-site full service dive shop and scuba school. This is a smaller, more intimate hotel. The staff will know your name and you will know theirs after a few days. We like it this way and we will never change that.

I have been here a couple of times. Each visit has been great. Friendly staff, awesome food and plenty of it! We were there for lunch, 7 hungry divers. Seated promptly and order taken. Food was received quickly and hot. Plenty of appetizers to choose from. Main courses were plentiful too.

I can't believe I've waited so long to write a review. Having frequented Blue Angel, I can say without doubt, you will LOVE your stay here. All rooms feature an ocean view (beautiful twilight lit mornings, and spectacular sunsets). The staff makes you feel like family. There is no better deal for all inclusive stays with food and diving on island. Featuring a seaside pool, there are many options to enjoy your stay -- diving or not. The location is very central, but far enough away from the port that you do not experience any nightlife traffic. Many nights there is live music for sunset. Additionally, Blue Angel has an on-site dive school offering many courses. We enjoyed our experience with Mateo, Julio, Ramon and Marcos so much that we decided to undertake studies for our Dive Masters. Their knowledge and passion for diving is unparalleled to any other dive schools I've visited in the past. We are SO grateful to Blue Angel, and all of its staff!

We have been to Cozumel for years and have driven by Blue Angel with hardly a thought. We booked it at the last minute primarily for diving convenience. The moment we stepped through the doors we knew we were at a truly unique place on this beautiful island. The vibe of Blue Angel is one of simplistic relaxation. The grounds are lush, the sounds of the ocean and music wash away your mainland cares! The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. I dove every day and was impressed with the "valet" service. You simply boarded your dive boat and the equipment was set out for you. What was truly awesome was that the bond you develop with fellow divers becomes even more enriching when you share a cocktail while listening to live music and talking about the days diving experiences. Finally, the thing that sets Blue Angel apart from anyplace we have stayed in Cozumel, or elsewhere, is the customer service. Eva, the owner, has surrounded the resort a staff that is as warm and caring as she is. Hector and Sergio at the restaurant quickly made us feel like we were family. The dive masters and boat captains were professional and helpful. We hated to leave... we will be back!

It is such a pleasure for them. They work so hard and it is lovely when someone notices. I am so happy you were pleased with the concierge program. Some divers only want to deal with their own equipment, but I think that many divers see the brilliant job that is done and then get to see the benefit. Alfredo does such a good job. I had a trip planned for April last year. Unfortunately, our trip was canceled due to COVID. After dozens of emails about a refund, I finally received a response in October to complete my refund. I gave the requested information for the refund, and haven't heard anything from the resort since. I've sent easily 50 emails with no response from Eva or anyone at the resort. No offer of any other compensation. They just kept my money and ignored me. I understand the hospitality industry was hit incredibly hard across the world. I work in the industry and know first hand. But the flagrant disregard to respond to me is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry.

I am sorry you are disappointed. Even though it is not how you say it was, I know you wanted cash back and we could not promise that to you. We offered you more than you had given in credit. But there was no way we could give you cash back without risking my employees. It also would not be fair to offer something to you, that I could not offer to everyone. I hope you can understand this.

If I could give the Blue Angel Resort more than 5 stars, I would! I had the privilege of learning to dive with Julio, my magnificent instructor. Julio set my mind at ease while making me laugh as he taught me everything I needed to know to earn my open water diving certification. Ask for him if you get the chance, you won't regret it! Our dive masters Marcos and Ramon, as well as Alfredo in the dive shop, were all second to none. We visited so many dive sites that it was hard to keep track of them all, and every one was more beautiful than the next. I even saw a loggerhead turtle that was ENORMOUS! The food and drinks at the Blue Angel Restaurant were excellent, and the service was top notch. Shiva had me cracking up practically every time he came to our table. Did I mention that there was live music in the evening, courtesy of the Red Eye Band? What's better than 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails while listening to live music at sunset after a day of diving in the crystal clear, warm waters of the Caribbean? (Answer: absolutely nothing!) I'd also like to add that the staff at Blue Angel take COVID seriously, which made me feel especially safe. They took our temperature at breakfast every day, sanitizer was regularly used and always available, and staff as well as guests wore their masks without question. Blue Angel is truly a sanctuary in the middle of today's chaotic world. I felt welcome, safe, and peaceful for the entire week I was there. Thank you, Julio, Eva, and everyone at Blue Angel for a truly remarkable vacation and diving experience. I can't wait to come back!
