I have stayed several times at TAMARINDO, and I will stay there again! It is very well located: only a few blocks from the main square, from unexpensive local restaurants, and from a supermarket. The rooms are clean, and charming, and there is a kitchenette for the use of the guests. Eliane, the host, is very nice and helpful. She... More

Staying at the Tamarindo Hotel was great! As 4 young people, we really enjoyed how nice, charming and quiet the Tamarindo Hotel is. Not far away from the center of the town, you can go anywhere by foot. The hotess, Eliane, is a really great person, who gave us a lot of good plans. Staying at the Tamarindo was like... More

We are just back from Tamarindo bed and breakfast in Cozumel! We loved our stay there. The rooms are clean, simple but yet nicely decorated. The host, Eliane, is very nice, and is happy to share her knowledge of the island. Breakfast is delicious and different everyday! And, last but not least, the rates are unbeatable!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Tamarindo last July, only a few days post-Wilma. For the price, you really can't complain much, but here are the pros/cons of Tamarindo. PROS: *Eliane and Jorge were very nice, and very helpful. We ended up going home early because my husband got sick, and Eliane helped me to get in touch... More

The Tamarindo facility was pleasant - a courtyard and several rooms. Well furnished and clean, good hot water. Very close to most things in San Miguel - especially on the north side of town. BUT VERY NOISY!!! We stayed in the Ocaso room - it is above the owners' living area and has a deck door and window onto Calle... More

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Cozumel where we stayed at the lovely Tamarindo B & B. The Tamarindo is a charming retreat in the heart of San Miguel, just the right number of blocks off the main square. We stayed in the garden room which has air conditioning, and we were glad to have it. The French... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Tamarindo for three nights. The Tamarindo provides a very safe, secluded atmosphere in town. It reminds me of a family compound, hacienda style, with high walls and a gated entrance. Upon arrival, we rang the bell and Eliane was there to greet us. The guests will receive keys to the gate, so... More

After researching several places to stay, we chose Tamarindo and were very pleased with our accomodations. We stayed in the palapa room and found it to be quite cozy. We had a very nice breeze and with the fan, were quite cool at night. Jorge and Eliane were very gracious and provided a lovely breakfast each day on the veranda.... More

I have stayed at the Tamarindo, I believe 6 times while visiting Cozumel. The rooms are allways clean and comfortable, and it feels like my home when I am visiting. I read the review which was posted before mine, and I have stayed in every room except the palapa and upstairs in the garden room so I can not vouch... More

For $44/day including breakfast and tax I guess you can't really complain, though I haven't stayed at other, comparably priced places in Cozumel. We stayed in the Palapa room, which sounds exotic, but I don't recommend it. There were only a few tiny windows so not a lot of light (or any breeze) and it smelled of mildew. The mosquito... More
