There are so many rave reviews about this place that I chose it for our recent stay in Cozumel. Have to be honest and say that I was quite disappointed. While Eliane is a very friendly and helpful person, the accomodations weren't that great. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" really applies here. If you...

My husband and I visited Cozumel in May 2006. We chose to stay at the Tamarindo based on reviews from previous visitors. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. We stayed in the garden room with ac. The room was immaculate and there was minimal to no noise anytime we were in the room. We have stayed at nice hotels and...

We stayed at the Tamarindo for a week in the palapa. The palapa was really big (and comfortable) for the value (1 queen bed, one couch, one small bed and a hammock). No A/C but an amazingly efficient fan. Our Palapa was cleaned every day. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly and have great tips on local, less touristy...

I have stayed several times at TAMARINDO, and I will stay there again! It is very well located: only a few blocks from the main square, from unexpensive local restaurants, and from a supermarket. The rooms are clean, and charming, and there is a kitchenette for the use of the guests. Eliane, the host, is very nice and helpful. She...

Staying at the Tamarindo Hotel was great! As 4 young people, we really enjoyed how nice, charming and quiet the Tamarindo Hotel is. Not far away from the center of the town, you can go anywhere by foot. The hotess, Eliane, is a really great person, who gave us a lot of good plans. Staying at the Tamarindo was like...

We are just back from Tamarindo bed and breakfast in Cozumel! We loved our stay there. The rooms are clean, simple but yet nicely decorated. The host, Eliane, is very nice, and is happy to share her knowledge of the island. Breakfast is delicious and different everyday! And, last but not least, the rates are unbeatable!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Tamarindo last July, only a few days post-Wilma. For the price, you really can't complain much, but here are the pros/cons of Tamarindo. PROS: *Eliane and Jorge were very nice, and very helpful. We ended up going home early because my husband got sick, and Eliane helped me to get in touch...

The Tamarindo facility was pleasant - a courtyard and several rooms. Well furnished and clean, good hot water. Very close to most things in San Miguel - especially on the north side of town. BUT VERY NOISY!!! We stayed in the Ocaso room - it is above the owners' living area and has a deck door and window onto Calle...

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Cozumel where we stayed at the lovely Tamarindo B & B. The Tamarindo is a charming retreat in the heart of San Miguel, just the right number of blocks off the main square. We stayed in the garden room which has air conditioning, and we were glad to have it. The French...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Tamarindo for three nights. The Tamarindo provides a very safe, secluded atmosphere in town. It reminds me of a family compound, hacienda style, with high walls and a gated entrance. Upon arrival, we rang the bell and Eliane was there to greet us. The guests will receive keys to the gate, so...
