El Cozumeleño had everything we needed for the perfect trip. The guest services was amazing! Everyone in the staff was so respectful and helpful, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The food was great, Drinks were top notch, and the views are A1! Honestly, If I ever come back to Cozumel, this will be my #1 choice from the hotels.

The Good: The rooms are large and the views are amazing. I witnessed the staff raking seagrass and gravel off of the sandy areas of the beach everyday during breakfast. The pools are large and the palapas afford great shade in the heat of the day. Every staff member I came in contact with was amazing. They were helpful and smiling. The north hotel zone is closer to town than all of the resorts stuck in the far reaches south of town. The snorkeling is very good here with many fish to see. The OK: If you are a foodie then you will probably not be impressed with the food. While the fare is not high end restaurant quality it is ok. Breakfast is very good and ordering off the menu instead of the buffet does afford some better choices. The A/C in most of the hotels on the island is just barely adequate. I have experienced this at multiple hotels, so this seems to be the norm.

If you are looking for a trip, where you literally will not have to lift a finger, then this is your place! The staff brought endless drinks straight to our spot on the beach. You could put in food orders from there too and never have to move a muscle. The ratings vary so much for this hotel because everyone’s intent is different. Our main desire was to be able to snorkel right in front of the hotel. We were able to do just that so we were happy! Saw several fish, stingrays and the largest school of fish grouped up I’ve ever seen! You can also drop into the water down by the Westin and let the current take you back. It’s a great experience with so much to see! Wi-fi is lacking for the most part except in the lobby so if you're looking to disconnect, this is your place! We didn’t love the type of rum and vodka they added to the drinks so ordered drinks with no alcohol and bought a bottle of our own from a convenience store to add. Also, if you’re looking for exquisite menu options or a nightlife, you’re going to have to make the trip to town as El Coz does lack those- at least during COVID. Overall, we were happy and enjoyed our stay and would like to come back with our whole family. Even the kids would be happy here!

great place to stay, food, drinks, beach, rooms....all top notch and at a very reasonable price! the buffet was varied, breakfast w fresh fruit and made to order omelettes, and nice indoor dining. service was terrific starting at the front entrance, easy check, maids are very thorough. regarding food or drinks very prompt and friendly....Tomas in the morning, or Santiago and Oscar or numerous others for beach or pool waiters! very low key atmosphere with fabulous views. easy to get to town and listen to live music or shop. would absolutely recommend going to the cozumeleno !!
