We traveled with our kids to this resort and found the following; Food is terrible and they recycle leftover food to the buffet for the next day. Food was very salty and terrible tasting. Staff need to be better trained, when informed that the hotdog machine was not working the waiter touched a hotdog with his hand and walk away!...

I am not an all - inclusive novice and I know what to expect. I am not a Cozumel novice. I have been there 25 times. I am a diver and normally pay $50-80 per day for a single occupancy really decent all-inclusive. This was a family trip so the expectations were more upscale. So we ponyed up 200+ a...

This is a good family oriented resort. Adults will be somewhat bored and foodies will be appalled. Amateur snorkelers take their chances. Key Flaw 1: Missing a bar on the beach that is open from 4 to 2 and has TVs. A casual bar with an ocean view should be a must at every resort. Key Flaw 2: Snorkeling is...

Pros: The perfect weather. Cons: The rooms are disgusting. They smell like urine and mold. Yes, the walls are paper thin too. The first night we listened for an hour at 2AM to a girl barfing her brains out from drinking too much and she sounded like she was in our room. We were put on a waiting list to...

I traveled with my 9.5 month old daughter, husband and adult family members. Our daughter really enjoyed the huge splash pad. I witnessed many children from...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Mexico’s Caribbean there is a tiny island just bursting with life – it is Cozumel and the Allegro Cozumel resort. Right on the famous Sand Francisco Beach, two worlds of adventure co-exist: The Fun-in-the-sun beach and the amazing undersea Palancar Reef. Whatever you choose to pursue, Allegro Cozumel places it right at your fingertips. Beach Volleyball, tropical bars, restaurants, and nightclubs keep life on land exciting, while the on-site dive shop and big-game sport-fishing charters offer a gateway into the dazzling marine sanctuary of Cozumel’s waters. And when you awake the next morning, after a relaxing night’s sleep in your comfortable guest room, you’ll find there’s even more to explore, because the adventure never stops at Allegro. For the young ones, there is plenty to do from building sand castles alongside the beautiful powdery white sand beach, get physical at the amazing kid’s multiplay covered playground, catch some giggles at the water park, or take advantage of the many activities offered by the Kids clubs. ... more   less
