Just got back from a trip to Cancun and Delta hit right in the middle of our visit. Our resort evacuated us to the Technical College, which had no power, windows were already covered, so it was basically a dark sweat box with no toilet seats. My parents have friends in the area because they have been going for so long so through a connection we got a room at the Hotel and Suites Nader and evacuated our evacuation site. The price was very reasonable and the room was huge. Its in easy walking distance to a main road, restaurants, super markets etc. The building was very cute with charm and character. Everything was shutting down by the time we got there but while our fellow resort neighbors were eating tuna in the dark we found a chinese place and still had AC and tv! The owner Carlos was so hospitable and very welcoming. The next morning after the area had lost power he was able to get a few workers in the Cafe Nader next door and prepare a delicious breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay here again if the need should ever arise!…
We really love this place! We rented a suite for two nights at about $60CDN per night and got a fully equipped, spacious apartment that must be at least 800 square feet. It is very clean and quiet but located on a side street in a nice commercial district full of all types of restaurants and services. Security is good and there are coffee shops right across the street and next door. Plus it is a world away from the touristy hotel zone. Not sure if we will ever return to Cancun but if we do we will certainly stay here.
We had very little time for a vacation and with so short time I decided to try something different. To my surprise this tiny place was very accessible, affordable and quiet. The cafe next door had great breakfast for cheap. The place is not fancy nor resort quality but for the time was perfect! We did expeditions and lots of activities in a short period of time so we only needed a place to crash. Is right in the center of downtown and you can walk safely everywhere. I look gringa but since I speak Spanish as my first language it was just fun!
Not a resort but still 5 star for the service we received from front desk, security, and the cleaning staff. The location is a 4 min walk to everything you need in the city and the prices were reasonable. The front desk even asked our opinion on the new rooms for future. The cafe was amazing too Gets busy on the weekends. You get to experience real Mexico. I'd definitely stay here again.
The rooms are inexpensive and clean staff was great. We stayed there while looking for a long term rental in Playa Del Carmen. Was a good experience . the only drawback is there is NO Parking for the hotel. $26 a nite can't beat that!!!!!
