Nice property! You can tell the hotel is loved and taken care of. We had trouble booking on line for our family of 2 adults and one Eleven year old. Amex did not communicate with the hotel well. Long story short we booked for mom, dad, and kid for 2900 for week. When we got there they said reservation was...

One of the better hotels in Cancun. The food is good and the location close to all of the restaurants and night clubs. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are all nice and clean. Staying at the palace property allows you access to the other riu properties as well.

This was our first visit to Cancun, having previously stayed on Isla Mujeres. This is a huge resort hotel with many specialty restaurants, large pool area, good beach for lounging and enough bars. There is also a coffee shop that needs to open earlier than 10AM. The food in the specialty and buffet restaurants was good, not great. The lobster...

We stayed 5 days at the Riu Peninsula, entire resort and our room was very well maintained and super clean, the staff is everywhere and you can tell they care about cleanliness, you accidentally drop a piece a paper and someone will be there within minutes if not seconds to pick it up. The grounds are beautifully situated in a...

My friend and I spent one week at Riu Peninsula and we both enjoyed the hotel and activities. We had an ocean view room on the 9th floor overlooking the stage area and as others have mentioned, the rooms above the evening entertainment are noisy, but thankfully the music stops around 11PM.The rooms in the wing above the restaurants would...

We just got back a week ago from Riu Palace Peninsula. This is our second time at this hotel and it was just as fabulous as we remembered. We were able to take our two boys, who are young men now, with us this time and we all had an amazing time. Food was good and we LOVED not having...

This is not my first time at a Riu resort but my first time at this one. We paid extra for the adults only villa and our building had no view other than the two buildings in front of us. The villas are three stories High and only the front two view the ocean. Traveling from Minnesota, it is important...

The good: - No more restaurant reservations. This was always a PITA having stayed at three other Riu's over the years. - No more running down first thing in the morning to reserve seating. The grounds are expansive and very well maintained. There was no problem finding seats. - Food was very good for an all inclusive. Best were lobster...

We stayed for seven nights in the king jacuzzi suite. The suite was massive, larger then our 2 bed condo downtown Toronto with a huge patio. Amazing views of the sea from every window. We were on the sixth floor and could literally walk around nude as we had no overlooked windows. I've stayed in many all inclusive resorts this...
