I've been to the spa twice in GB Cabo and when this one in Cancun opened I wanted to check it out. I missed my appt by an hour 😩 but the staff waited for me. I was the last one in so I had the spa all to myself. RUTH was a sweet girl but boy, was she one of the most amazing masseuse I've ever had. I had the relaxing massage with a facial and RUTH was very thorough and constantly checking on me to see how I was doing. The spa itself was amazing, if I had the time I would've stayed for the water therapy but next time I will. The staff, the spa, the resort was amazing. And definitely I will ask for RUTH again the next time I come back. Good job, GB.
We’ve stayed at Garza Blanca in other locations, so we know how wonderful the experience is at a Tafer resort. The design, accommodations, and amenities are always spectacular, and the same is true of the new Cancun site. Keep in mind, there is still construction going on- it wasn’t significant enough to bother us. Every single meal was consistently delicious- without a doubt, you will be impressed with the quality of food and drinks. There are currently 3 restaurants right on site- 2 more are in progress. However, the staff is what really makes the Garza Blanca experience exceptional. Some who deserve thanks for their exceptional hospitality are: At Bocados: Chef Isai, Erika, Luis Felipe and Javier gave us an amazing dinner experience, including the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Then Ernesto, Alex and Luis nailed it again with strawberries flambe made tableside. Ruben, the manager, did everything to ensure our complete happiness. At the lobby bar: Julio, Diego, Angel, Cecilio, and Felipe amazed us with an endless number of custom cocktail creations and great conversations! It’s wild to see how much “Spanglish” you can speak after a few drinks! At Hiroshi: Karla, Priscila, Zuri, Maria, and Francisco were so lovely, we came back 3 times! At the pools: Benjamin, David, Izmael and Ricardo kept the mezcal flowing and the Baja tacos coming! We will absolutely be back to visit our new friends in Cancun!…
My visit to Garza Blanca Cancun was amazing. The resort is gorgeous and the service and food is awesome! We loved the rooftop pool. Israel was our amazing server both days we visited so ask to sit in his section if he is there. Our butlers Candido and Diana were wonderful! Lastly our dinners at Hiroshi were THE BEST! Karla (the manager) runs a first class restaurant. Gustavo (our server) provided some of the best service I have ever had at any restaurant in any country. We dined there twice and loved it both times. I cannot say enough good things about service at the resort. We will be back without a doubt!
My family and I visited cancun for 12 days and enjoyed the incredibly fun environment Alejandro and Millie provided with the daily aqua fit exercises and the volleyball games. They truly made the experience memorable and we’re amazingly kind and friendly to everyone around them with positive upbeat vibes. Would recommend every activity they lay out for the resort and would definitely go again to experience the fun they bring to Garza Blanca.
Benjamin took care of us everyday we were here and was very attentive. The hotel is beautiful with amazing service, Benjamin made our experience that much better. We recommend coming here for a getaway!
The positive reviews here pretty much cover it all, but I wanted specifically mention a few things. First is Hiroshi restaurant and is must during your stay. The food and staff were amazing! The second mention is the spa. Not exaggerating, the best massage I have ever had. Last and best mention is our butler Vanessa. She took any expectation I may have had about Garza Blanca and blew them out of the water. She truly made our stay special.
We had the pleasure of visiting Garza Blanca back in February, and enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to book another week for when more of the resort was finished. I would like to point out that we're not members/residents - but just really liked this resort. I was very excited to experience the newly opened Rooftop - and was blown away by the view! We were excited the spa was finally finished and visited 3 times this trip - all for the most blissful of massages! Dont skip the hydrotherapy circuit. Its the perfect way to relax before relaxing some more! I had hoped that Dao would be opened for this trip, but I guess that we'll just have to return for another visit in the future. I only had two gripes about this visit, that weren't major enough to sway my opinion, but are worth mentioning. The hotel is still under construction in some areas - so I'm attributing that to what was going on. First, the hot water in our room was a little wonky - the shower never got warmer than lukewarm, but the sinks got pretty hot. Annoying, but hardly a vacation ruiner. And secondly, at certain times of day inside there were odors of sewer and such. Especially in the lobby. They tried to perfume the areas to cover it up, but for me it just co-mingled the smells to an overpowering level. Again, unpleasant- but I'm sure management is trying their best to get it under control. I do need to point out that we had some interactions with really stand out employees as far as service - and they are listed below: Our butler Ariel was so helpful in answering our questions and helping to make spa and dining reservations. She made all the difference in the trip going as smoothly as it did. Irving and Benjamin at the Rooftop deserve special mention for their excellent service! I was beyond impressed that Irving recognized and remembered us from our February visit. He always had a smile (under his mask, but you can still tell) for us and he seemed to genuinely care if all of our needs and wants were met. And Benjamin too was always super quick and happy to help. He was consistently able to get us a lounger in a desirable spot and kept us happy and well attended to at all times, despite having multiple other guests to look after as well. Maria was our server the night we dined at Blanca Blue. She was very pleasant and welcoming. She gave excellent recommendations on what to try and our glasses never reached empty before refills arrived! Antonio at Davinos also deserves recognition for his standout service. We enjoyed his attentiveness and demeanor so much from earlier in the week that we reserved a second night at Davinos with him! Both times he went above and beyond to help make this anniversary trip feel special. His recommendations were top notch and he really went above and beyond with the tableside prepared flambe desserts.…
"Garza Blanca is so overrated we experienced our worst stay in a resort and we had stayed in many different hotels in Cancun and believe me this place is far from a good quality, facilities are fine however the service is terrible I can't understand why this place has so many positive comments with a clear problem with service, waiters are focus on tips and asking us to leave a great comment each interaction this is unacceptable for a resort like this save your money go somewhere else
The property is lovely and the four-bedroom penthouse loft perfectly accommodated our group of eight ladies. Its rooftop jacuzzi and patio provided a wonderful place for a nightcap and late night conversation. As others have said before though, it really is about the staff and hospitality. After checking in, I was on my phone starting to make dinner reservations when we were greeted by Ariel, who introduced herself as our butler for the week. She made all our reservations, found outings for us, stocked our room with some very specific items, and arranged a beautiful private dinner in our room. Wow! i can't say enough about how pampered she made us feel. Her service may have been included because of our room, so I'm not sure if it is available to all guests, but she made the trip for us ladies. Other notable staff: Raul at the pool made sure we had eight pool lounge chairs set up every day and stocked with waters. All our servers at the pool were attentive and polite. Angel prepared our delicious private dinner, and Rogelio served us. They were both outstanding. My only suggestion to the management would be to offer more nighttime entertainment, even if it's just a live performer. There were some musicians wandering around the pool during the day, but a venue featuring them at night instead would have given us somewhere to gather after dinner. There was virtually nowhere to go and nothing open here or at the hotel next door after 9:00. …
@Hirsohi, @Blana Blue, @Bocados- Between Profino, Kevin, Roger, Thomas, Miguel, & Jose. My wife and I had the best time for her birthday and mothers day. You CANNOT go wrong at the Garza Blanca in beautiful Cancun. Make sure you do the catamaran over to the island for awesome snorkeling (rent the golf cart too ;) )!
