Stayed here only one night after landing in Cancun, but would happily stay for a lengthier stay. Central to Cancun pueblo on the main road and near the ADO bus station, it has a lot of shops and eateries close by. Room was clean and quiet (I had a private room), plus a nice big bath so I could soak...

Female solo traveller - excellent base for cancun. Links to buses and surrounding area. Tours, decent breakfast. Clean and good air con. Plugs next to dorm beds. Roof is great to chill and drink on. Highly recommend. Decent wifi throughout hostel.

This hostel is the best place to stay if you are looking to save money and spend it on things worthwhile instead ;). It has a nice rooftop bar where the music is amazing. The hostel is located right in downtown, and you can just walk outside to feel the city. One of the main bus stations is right next...

This hostel is perfect for all types of travellers. The atmosphere is so welcoming in the rooms and in the roof terrace which has a bar and jacuzzi giving you loads to do in the day and night. With a local bus to Zona Hotelera (which holds the main party places and beach) only 2 minutes away it is perfect...

Lovely hostel, in downtown, 5 min walk to ADO station, i enjoyed the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi area, although in low season it was quiet still a nice place to stay. Good wifi, A-C, free breakfast and friendly staff, especially Paul the bartender.

Close to the ADO, and it's cheaper to stay here than the Zona Hotelera and far less touristy. It's just a short and cheap bus ride into the Zona from here to hang out on some of the most beautiful beaches and hit the clubs. My dorm had individual fans at the end of each bed and the lockers had...

Really that is all I need to say as they are SO much better than the other hostels in the area. They are a bit pricey at times but if you're prepared to share a double room you can save on the costs a bit. It is so clean, and the breakfasts are AMAZING. The communal facilities are all clean...

This hostel has great rooms and is extremely social with the rooftop bar and spa area. Included breakfast is a great bonus as well. Very helpful staff. The location was disappointing, 15 minute drive to the closest beach, no local bars or clubs nearby and was surrounded by crappy nail salons and Service stations. 50m to ADO bus station. Would...

Having travelled around the world in many styles of accommodation there are very few places we would NEVER go back to. However this is the only one! 1. Showers that you can only use at certain times of the day. We wanted to be up and out early, at 7am, but that wasn't possible until 0800. 2. Showers were dirty,...

I'd certainly recommend Hostel Mundo Joven to anyone passing through Cancun. It's cheap, friendly and located close to bus terminal so serves as a perfect jumping off point to any central america/ Mexico tour. The staff were friendly and helpful staff - they let us check in late after delayed flight. We had a double room - and our room...
