We really enjoyed this resort. As a frequent Cancun vacationer I was mostly impressed by the food. I felt it much much better than most resorts and beautifully plated! This is definitely a more of a relaxation resort, as there’s no entertainment. A bit of live music every night, but I’m use to shows and beach party’s & activities around the pool from other resorts I’ve been to, but I didn’t mind this- it was nice to get good rest every night without staying up late so we enjoyed. The rooms were very nice & clean! Actually the whole resort was to add to that! Slow elevators but that didn’t really bother us! The beach was absolutely beautiful! They had free covid tests back to the US which is currently required right at the resort! I will definitely recommend this resort to those who want complete relaxation and not much activity! Shout out to Rey & Hector who unfortunately we met on the 2nd to last day but they took good care of us for our last days. Hector went extremely above and beyond for us! Overall we had an absolutely enjoyable time :)

My husband and I stayed at Oleo Cancun Playa for three nights after spending our first four nights at a different Cancun resort for a music festival. Here are the pros: Raul was fantastic, the first thing you should do when you check in is to find him at the pool or lobby bar and be prepared to have your mind blown. Raul is always willing to go above and beyond and he took care of us for our entire trip. We stayed in a 180° king room and our view was to die for. The food was also good, the tacos at the pool snack bar were great and it was not difficult to get into either of the nicer restaurants for dinner. The service down at the pool or beach was also wonderful, we didn’t have to trek back up to the bar or snack bar, everything was brought to us. The cons: there was only one pool available and one hot tub that never felt very hot. There were also multiple families with small children at the resort, which seemed a bit out of place. Finally, the weather in Cancun in November is a bit tumultuous (but that is of course not the fault of the resort). We had a great relaxing time and I would definitely recommend this boutique resort to friends who are looking to relax on their vacation.

We’ve been to Óleo Cancun Playa for the second time this year already and we had a great vacation as always. Beautiful location, good food, amazing service and fantastic drinks. A special thanks goes to the bar and waiter crew who always took care of us and never left us without a drink: Enrique, Raul, Isaac, Rodriguez, Rey, Fernando, Manuel, Jonathan, Gerry and Antonio! Their service is unique which we’ve never experienced like that in any other hotel before. We will definitely come back!

This is the 5th time that I have stayed here and there is a reason that I keep coming back.... For me everything about this place is perfect... Location(close to the airport), Beach front(clean and beautiful), staff(fantastic and always make me feel welcome), food(tasty, fresh and perfect for my needs), Hotel(clean, inviting and intimate), did I say that they have the best staff? I have forgotten some names but Carson is the best, most genuine person and extremely professional. Julia is tha most amazing manager and Yasuri is a sweetheart.. I Love this place.. see you all December 10th (3 weeks time).. xxx
