From the moment we arrived, we knew something was off. When checking in, we noticed this place was deserted (mind you, it's spring break) Not only were there no other guests, but there was literally no one working there. No functional restaurant or bar. No staff other than a receptionist. Driveway was dangerous and in disrepair. We booked a king bed room and did not get that. Jacuzzi tub was not functional. Our room key worked on other rooms (discovered when we mistakenly went to the door before ours and walked right into someone else's room) We tried to walk around the hotel and the receptionist basically wouldn't let us go down the main stairs. No food. Asked for drinks and was brought 2 beers, but there was no working bar or bartender. Kind of an issue for a vacation in Mexico. We left the same day (within 3 hours) of arriving. This hotel is not functional and does not meet basic standards. The photos on all the booking sites are at least 15 years old. The entire hotel is deserted, not maintained, and straight up creepy. We got out of there as soon as we could. For your own safety, do not book here.

Excellent hotel! Rooms are huge and super clean. Private balcony with a jacuzzi/tub. Great views and stunning hotel overall. For the price it’s going at in the location at this time of year absolute steal. It’s chilled and relaxed with a private beach too. The staff are super friendly as well.

Should've know better from reading reviews but needed a place fairly quickly and cheap. Well this wasn't the cheapest place on the list so I figured might get lucky and it would be above average... Wrong, oh so wrong. Driving up, the driveway is in disrepair, the buildings roofs are literally falling off/non existent. So first off not a great impression. Receptionist was lovely and helpful. Decor is dated to say the least, but whatever not an issue. The issue lies with the fact that the property is dirty, tired and old. It feels like an after thought, as in as long as rooms are getting booked there is no care in the maintenance or appearance of the property. It's completely souless and to be honest substantially creepy, feels like there's something underground going on. Dirty pool, filthy bathtub, water from taps stunk. Balcony door didn't shut properly, sheets were clean, but mattress and pillows were 100 years old and feral. The AC in the room was new, so that was a plus. Couch and curtians were mouldy, stained and stunk. No idea about the restaurant, wasn't told anything about it on check in and nobody was in the restaurant. Pool bar pictured wasn't functional, and those pictures on the websites are completely misleading, the property looks nothing like them anymore. It's was a creepy, dirty stay and I do not recommend it.

We spend the end of December in this very chic hotel. Great works of art on the wall as well as peace and quiet. Very different from “spring break” atmosphere of other hotels. Small but cozy in a good location.
