Terrible front desk experience. Rude and ridiculous, no hot water in rooms generally. Rooms are OK, swimming pool are and gardens are very pretty. Highlight is definitely the restaurant, the amazing view and the lovely staff there.

I think, overall, this is a good place. Rooms are nice and clean, it has a very homey atmosphere and excellent location (5 to 8 min walk to the Cathedral). However, there are a few things that can be improved, for example: Pool needs maintenance and towels and sheets need to be renewed. Also, I could hear everything through the...

We had stayed in a couple of more up-market places before coming here and it was a bit of a come down. The rooms are not so flash but it is also relatively inexpensive. The hotel is a big rambling place set around a nice garden with a pool and peacocks. It is in a grant location close to Taxco's...

I come 4 times a year to Taxco for business and stay approximately 4 nights each trip and I feel like home in this hotel. Downtown is located just minutes away, same with restaurants. The environment in this hotel allows me rest peacefully after a long working days.

Posada San Javier is a great hotel located about ten minutes from the zocalo in beautiful Taxco. Many ups and downs in the narrow streets of Taxco, and you may have a room that is two or three flights up --- with no elevator. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff is very accommodating. The grounds are well...

The hotel is a great condition with breathtaking views of Taxco, it has a very nice garden and pool. We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor with a balcony that overlooks the pool, the room...

I was here only for two nights. I got the "Bugambilia Suite" and it blew me away! Beautiful place, great pool, lots of green, they even have two peacocks. Truly paradise. The views from the restaurant are unbelievable! The pricing was right, the staff was very kind and helpful. I could have used a fan, though. The restaurant gets packed...

Every time I travel to Taxco for business, I stay at Posada San Javier. Located a few minutes away from Santa Prisca Cathedral and the main square of Taxco, you have shops, restaurants, banks and several attractions near by. The room and facilities are always very clean and the owner and staff are always very helpful.

The staff is very friendly, fully prepared to help you have a good stay. The facilities are nice and it shows that the care and service. Personally, the rooms were not the best for rest are acceptable but can improve. The garden rescues the inn.
