Definitely not a 5 star hotel as they publish, maybe 2 or maximum 3....maybe it was better ranked 80 years ago when they open. Needs renovations in construction and furniture. Bathrooms not only updated but also with pluming problems. Views are amazing. Compfortable bed. Poor food except for the pan de muertos at breakfast. If there is a weeding at... More

Expensive, no water, really old towels, pool ok, the rooms numbers from 50-60 a lot of noise. And one of the rooms that we had it, really bad smell. Service from the managers the worts. For the price I really want more quality in cleaning, sheets and towels.

Warning.... DO NOT have the buffet breakfast in the hotel prior to the tour of la mina it was chaos, expensive and not great quality! People bulk ordered 14 quesadillas so you think you are behind 1 person but you are behind 14 and at least 4 people did this in front of us! We waited for an hour to... More

This is a converted old mission. It's old but has lots of charm. The view of the town of Taxco from the room was fantastic. If you like silver, this is the place to visit. they still have silver mine in activity and sorts of jewels, trinkets for sale at reasonable prices. The hotel rooms are a bit old but, again,... More

It has a great view of the town, it has small rooms, and the food isn't that tasty. But if you're looking for something comfortable and cheap, this is the choice . There's no wifi in the rooms, you have to go down to the main hall to use the wifi. And the bathrooms have windows to the corridors between... More

This Hotel is very colonial type so if you have trouble with stairs I do not recomen it, because it has no elevator. But if you are like me and don't mind about little details you will enjoy the magnificents views that this Hotel has. They have room service so it's a very romantic thing to ask for it and... More

It was a surprise to spend a night there. The room itself was very simple and you could not have warm water in shower. Every room has a balcony and there are beautiful sceneries over the town of Taxco. You can see the sunset and hear the birds and see butterflies! The hotel is well situated. We took a beetle... Honestly I did not do my usual homework before booking a night at this hotel. My family had already booked their rooms at the Hotel Boutique Pueblo Lindo so I rushed and booked something as quickly as possible. The room was ok but fell short on many things. The TV is so very small. It must be close to a... More

I have eaten at the restaurant many times over the years but have never stayed in a room. The hotel is traditional Mexican, very nice and well maintained. It's in a hacienda style. The restaurant next to the pool has great views of Taxco. The food is OK and the service good. It's a great place to wrap up the... More

Stayed here on tour. Great location, 10 minute walk to the city centre through cobblestone streets lined with shops. Amazing views, especially at night. Room was average but what can you expect in a town like this. So authentic so I enjoyed it. We were told scary stories so my sleep wasn't too great anyway! Breakfast was great but more... More
