Staying at Bela’s was unlike any travel experience I have ever had. Bela is one of the kindest and warmest people I have ever met, and her beautiful place far exceeded my expectations and my family’s in terms of location, comfort and amazing food. We met amazing people there and she made me feel like a member of her own...

If you don’t like dogs, want to watch TV in your room and enjoy meaty breakfasts then this place is not for you. I loved it. The rooms are spacious, clean and very tastefully furnished. Bela’s place is an oasis of tranquilty in the heart of noisy, bustling San Cristobal. Bela’s intelligence, charm and generosity made my stay here very...

This is a luxury experience while visiting San Cristobal! Bela can hook you up with local information, sights, restaurants to visit and the B&B is a block from the Central Mercado and easy walking distance to the vast majority of in-town sights (taxis are abundant and easy to find as well). Very cozy and wonderfully decorated space, cute well behaved...

That's how I feel about Bela's. I visit Chiapas twice a year and only when Bela has room for me. The staff is wonderful. I always have lunch and they prepare me a great vegetarian meal. The rooms are sunny with great views. Two rooms have bath tubs...showers too. The beds are fabulous with fleece or cotton knit sheets. They...

From the moment Bela and her family (including her sweet dogs) greeted us I knew we were going to love her BnB. The gardens are beautifully kept with lush plants everywhere, many in bloom. The bedroom we stayed in was sunny and bright with unbelievably comfortable beds, the best part being there are electric mattress or blanket warmers for those...

Bela takes good care of her guests. The garden and kitchen are beautiful, perfect places to take your morning coffee or an afternoon beer. The beds are comfortable and clean. The...

We loved Bela's! Our room was comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious for two adults and a 5-year old plus our suitcases. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a small but lush and well groomed garden. Breakfast is tasty american-european style. We appreciated the opportunity to have some washing done. But best of all: Bela's welcoming attidude and her child-loving little...
