I stayed at 4-bed-room dorm and it was very comfortable. There are lockers in the room. There is big garden with friendly dogs all over the place. Next to garden is a big pool table where you can easily meet other backpackers. Big kitchen to prepare healthy meals on your own. Breakfast in the morning is simple - bread and...

Big old colonial building near the centre of San cristobal. Great social spaces and friendly atmosphere makes it easy to get to know other travelers. Especially like the nightly fire that everyone sits round with a beer chatting and the sun terraces are happy places to trade tales. Dorms are a little dated and scruffy, but well within tolerance levels...

I really enjoyed the amount of nationalities in this hostel. In the evening a campfire was lit in the central court, which attracted all travellers and I loved the variety of languages spoken. Its situated close to the centre and about 1/2 hour walk to the busstation. Extra blankets are needed in the night, it can be cold.

Really nice place, lovely rooms, good fireplace and pool game... Located very close to Santo Domingo market and the center, the hostel is a very good example of good design (making the best with what the building has to offer). I had a very nice surprise to have a free night stay because I was travelling by motorcycle. Thanks to...

We stayed in an en-suite private room. The shower was hot both times that I used it. Breakfast was cereal, coffee and toast - not the best we've had in Mexico but not the worst either. You had to make it yourself and wash up afterwards. The guy who checked us in at reception was very friendly and there were...

Surprisingly neat and friendly hotel. Shift manager helped us to book an excursion to magic villages. Hotel is clean and a lot of different people stay there. There are great common areas, chimney and late night fire in the middle of the hotel. Awesome ambient!
