Hacienda living! We got a great rate here and stayed much longer than planned. The courtyard gardens became our school and reading area. When the storm came, we had a fire in our room and listened to the thunder. The staff became like family. We walked everywhere from here- restaurants, churches, theater, live music , yoga. We loved it!

This was a really nice hotel, very attractive and with excellent service from the staff. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very spacious. It is very well located for the main tourist street with lots of great restaurants and shops. The breakfast was great and we had very fast wifi throughout the hotel. Our rooms had balconies onto an atrium...

I stayed here for a conference. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant, though the courtyard was beautiful. The drains in my bathroom weren't working correctly, so the room stunk a bit. And the hotel was surprisingly noisy at night.

The location is perfect, close to everything, the city hall, Central Park, and the lovely pedestrian streets. But the service is quite poor, the attention since the reception was not good and we didn't feel welcome, the rooms are ok but a little bit too loud because of the hall. We never got any explanation about the facilities, the restaurant...

Checking in was smooth but cold. The concierge was very good as they helped with our luggage and gave us directions by hand signs and very broken English. Rooms were clean and averagely comfortable. Room and bathroom amenities were wee bit less than adequate. The ground floor room that we stayed in was very stuffy...no ventilation so we had to...

A comfortable hotel set round an attractive courtyard, friendly service other than a rather stern receptionist who was clearly having a bad day. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. the location is indeed perfect, close to everything you want to visit. Don't miss the amazing market on 2 levels near the Santo Domingo church.

Beautiful rooms around a pretty courtyard. Helpful staff and central location. If you feel at all cold, pay the $30(Mex) and have the fire lit in the early evening - it's brilliant and keeps the room warm all night. We didn't eat here, but breakfast was no problem as there's loads of good Jugo carts and cafes nearby.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center close to everything. Rooms are large the bed is enormous and comfortable. Modest little hotel that fits the bill. Very well situated and just a few minutes from the central of San Cristobal. This is a typical colonial town with a lovely square but with student protests. Lots of side street restaurants. This is a 'tourist' town as one is soon made aware by the number of street hawkers. These are, universally,...
