The hotel was nice. The people extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have a rustic setup and there is a lot of woodwork. It is not on the high-end but served well for the 2 night stay. The wifi was good. The location super - a lot of restaurants and attractions nearby. But, the room was facing the main street and was quite loud all night; earplugs did help. Breakfast was fresh and there were fruits and bread and the orange juice was delicious. Taste wise I would give it personally a 7/10. The colour tones of the hotel are superb. So were the plants and pictures placed around the premises. As mentioned before, it isn’t on the high-end and the bed frame was rickety and the bathroom slightly old fashioned, but it it didn’t dampen the mood, as I imagine hotels in the area to be similar. A 2 day stay, coupled with all the attractions nearby and stores a few walking distance was a good deal for us. What of course stands out is the friendliness of the staff. Really appreciated their sunny disposition.

Room Tip: Right next to the main street. So it can get loud. Bring earplugs.

We are SO glad we stayed at Hotel de Siete Balcones. From the moment we arrived, the stay was wonderful. There were fresh flowers in the room, delicious continental breakfasts as well as special Oaxacan dishes, and the rooms are all spacious and comfortable. The hotel is on a busy street in the Centro but we never had any trouble with the noise. The hotel is perfectly located and a 10 minute walk to most areas of interest. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful, providing assistance with everything. We would not hesitate to book here again!

We just returned from a 9 night stay at Casa de Siete Balcones during the Dia De Los Muertos celebrations. Although this is an extremely busy time in Oaxaca, this hotel was the perfect refuge to get away from the crowds. Although we could hear all the activity going on just outside the hotel, it didn’t bother us - it was just part of the unique Day of the Dead experience. All of the staff were exceptional - so welcoming, helpful and kind. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We made this trip to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary, and we were treated to chocolates, flowers, wine, and a lovely personalized card to mark the occasion - we were very touched. The hotel is beautiful! Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean, and very nicely appointed, including fresh cut flowers. The courtyard, restaurant, and common area were lovely - the special decorations for the Day of the Dead were wonderful. I especially liked the alter at the front door, along with the marigolds and candles lining the stairway. There were marigolds throughout the whole hotel - the ambiance was amazing! The included breakfasts were as simple or elaborate as you wished, freshly made, and always served with a smile. The location of the hotel was excellent - we were able to walk to all the restaurants and attractions. The Front Desk staff were always there to help with directions. The balconies in the rooms are a very unique feature - by opening them up, you could view the many parades going by, and be comfortably in the centre of all the action. Muchas Gracias to everyone at Casa de Siete Balcones - we miss you💙.

I absolutely love everything and everyone connected with Casa de Siete Balcones. I wouldn't stay anywhere else (unless you want a pool). From the minute I emailed them about a reservation to the minute we said goodbye, everyone was exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were very nice, breakfast was terrific, the location was super easy. I also love their policies and acceptance of all people.

Beautiful, boutique hotel in an historic building. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely staff (shout out to Inez!) were friendly and helpful. Oaxaca is a beautiful city and well worth the trip. Location was great, close to shopping, restaurants, and sites.

The Hotel Casa de Siete Balcones staff are the kindest people you will meet. IMO indicative of the people of Oaxaca. My wife and I recently stayed at the Siete Balcones for 8 nights. Wonderful location (can't beat it), close to just about everything, great little breakfast, thanks to Ms. Inez who took care of us each morning. The front office staff is there for any issues, questions, directions, reservations, etc. that you might have. With only 7 rooms, you feel like you are at home. You might read that it can be a little noisy due to street noise, however, don't let that small issue hold you back from staying at the hotel. We'll be back!

The team works around the clock to make your stay unforgettable! Very spacious rooms right in the heart of Oaxaca and only a couple of minutes away from Santo Domingo church, breakfast with local specialities, ground coffee at the room and organic personal hygiene products. Casa De Siete Balcones is a very lovely and charming boutique hotel. The location is perfect. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Considering the location, we were surprised how quiet it was at night. Also, the doors they have at the balcony made the room completely dark at night and we slept really good. Breakfast was good and fresh. What made our stay special was the amazing staff of the hotel. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. It makes you want to return. We’ll definitely stay here again if we are back to Oaxaca. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely bed & breakfast, attentive hosts, perfect location! A very spacious, nicely decorated room...although I prefer a larger bathroom, that did not take away from a delightful venue. Staff, from desk to kitchen, went out of their way to be helpful!
