Dirk and I visited Oaxaca for Dia de Los Muertos in October/November 2015. We were with a small tour group and didn't have any idea what to expect. We arrived late on a Sunday evening. This is a small boutique hotel with only 6 rooms arranged around an atrium where breakfast is served in the morning. The staff was waiting...

I was not expecting Casa Catrina to be as well put together as it seems from its website and travelers' photos, but it was. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and well designed (gone are the faux leather sofas). Each one matched to the color (there are no room numbers but colors). I would highly recommend the ones upstairs (red, green...

I arrived at this hotel on Oct 26 and departed on Nov 3. From beginning to end the service at this hotel was outstanding. The location is perfect within walking distance of the many wonderful attractions of the city. This seems a boutique hotel with only 6 suites but the rooms are spacious, each one known by its color theme....

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this pretty boutique B & B. We had the yellow room on the first floor - it was very comfortable and well furnished. The breakfasts were superb. The location is excellent - 2 mins walk to Santo Domingo and 5 mins to the Zocalo. Would definitely recommend this hotel

I was looking for a location close to the Santo Domingo cultural center, primarily to be on the quieter side of the historic center. Based on reviews on TripAdvisor, I booked a room for a 4 night stay with my husband. We had the Yellow Room on the first floor. The room was very nicely appointed, I loved the step-in...

The location could not be better. Just 2 blocks away from Sto Domingo. Quiet hotel with auper friendly staff and personalized attention, the rooms are very big but the decoration could definitely improve.

This is a lovely, small B&B, in an excellent location. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Many amenities. The staff is very caring. Terrific breakfast. Good WiFi at no additional cost. I would stay there again anytime.

Overall, Casa Catrina offers pleasant accommodations and is well located. They were the first hotel I've ever stayed at to refuse to provide a second washcloth! Many places in the world don't provide any, but Casa C provided only one in the bathroom?! When I asked for another, they refused and told me that was all they had! There were...

We spent 9 days at Casa Catrina for the Dia de los Muertos celebrations in Oaxaca. This is a lovely boutique hotel/B & B with only 6 rooms. Our room was wonderful (the Rojo suite), very clean, and we had excellent service. Full delicious breakfast was served each morning in the lovely inside courtyard. Our king size bed and down...
