We spent 2 nights there ... it looks like a dollhouse. Maria (the owner) is the sweetest person, very helpful, she gave us good advice etc. Extremely clean and each room has its own style. Just love IT

We stayed at El Diablo y La Sandia Boca Del Monte, which is several blocks away from the original B&B on Libres. For some reason TA doesn't have these split out into two separate reviews. Don't be stupid like us and go to the wrong hotel when you fly in! Anyway, we greatly enjoyed our stay here. We were in...

We stopped in the new B and B that Maria has opened. It is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Mexico. The table had pretty table runner and mats every day and the breakfast was different every morning. It is in a convenient position and has a lovely inner courtyard. Although there are...

We actually stayed in the new B&B on Boca del Monte which is the new addition to El Diablo. The new hotel is set back from a main road and built around s number of converted buildings with a central courtyard garden. We booked this one because the original El Diablo was full and Maria offered us a room in...

We really enjoyed our stay here, though there are a couple of small areas for improvement. The folks who run the place are a pleasure to deal with and very helpful, and they have added some nice touches to the place, creating a lovely ambience. The breakfast served in the open air kitchen is excellent, with different traditional dishes and...

We couldn't resist the vibe that came through the online photos for El Diablo y la Sandia BB and the funky name nailed it for us! We still can't believe how perfect our instincts were to have chosen this awesome BB for our stay in Oaxaca. From the moment we were met at the door by Maria's welcoming smile, we...

We stayed six nights on our first stay in Oaxaca, and we can't wait to go back. El Diablo is a great accommodation--the rooms are well appointed and open onto a central courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. Delicious breakfasts are served every morning (try not to eat all of the guava marmalade!). There is a roof deck where you can...

I stayed for two weeks in this beautiful place. The rooms are wonderfully decorated, spacious and quiet. Maria and her team are incredibly helpful and hospitable. The great coffee and delicious breakfast are served on an indoor terrace. There's an eclectic and friendly mix of international travelers. Maria has also curated her own map of her favorite restaurants and haunts...

We stayed three nights at this friendly and reasonably priced B&B within short walking distance to many sights and eateries of Oaxaca. Rooms are comfortable and the communal breakfasts are delicious. The style of the place is relaxed with a funky design that incorporates the theme of the devil and watermelon (taken from a popular Mexican bingo-like card game called...
