Enjoyed the art and authenticity of El Diablo y la Sandia. Lovely terrace where we enjoyed a variety of breakfasts each morning with other guests. Helpful staff, good recommendations for a taxi driver with whom we spent the day: Jorge. Convenient location. Perhaps a touch too expensive for the simplicity of the rooms.

My husband and I, along with our toddler visited Oaxaca in January for a week stay. We enjoyed El Diablo y La Sandia Libre and the city very much. We chose the Luna room which was perfect for us as it was upstairs from the rest of the rooms and next to the terrace. The room was spacious and they...

This small B&B is really cute with some unique aspects (delicious home made Kombucha and jams, kitchen open for everyone's use) but there is very little privacy. We could hear every movement and conversation in the room next door: when they got out of bed to use the bathroom, snoring, coughing, etc. The rooms are also centered around the courtyard...

We stayed at Diablo for 2 nights. It's a nicely decorated in a more authentic vibe, nice small roofterrace and good breakfast each morning. It's in a good location in the centre, walking distance from where all things happen and we got some valuable tips on tours, dinner and drinks. Bit too expensive though for the quality of the rooms...

We stayed here for 5 nights from Sunday to Friday. The location is fantastic. It's only a 10 minute walk to Santo Domingo Church and no more than a 20 minute walk to the Zocalo. Second, the breakfast is fantastic; every day, they serve a typical Mexican dish (hot) in addition to the fresh fruit, bread and excellent coffee (sourced...

We brought ten women to this magical place and rented the whole building it was very magical clean colourful full of kindness and beauty. We didn't see many staff about and it would have been great to meet maria but we were only there three days ... We had a mini bus to run us in and out of town...

We had an excellent time staying here for four nights. The hotel is well-located, a quick walk from the zocalo. We stayed in the luna room, which is the only room on the second floor. It overlooks the courtyard and steps out onto the terrace--definitely worth reserving this room, if possible. We enjoyed the tasty traditional breakfasts cooked each morning--the...

We stayed in the Corazon room for 5 nights, which together with the Luna room we think are the best options in the hotel. On arrival we were offered a different room, right beside the kitchen, which we found too small and stuffy. Our complaint was immediately resolved and we were moved to another room. The staff were always friendly...
